Without giving you the extended disco version, this is THE rudest staff I have ever encountered. I am not one to write reviews and I always give people the benefit of the doubt, but the women that work at this shop are ridiculous. Do not go here unless you want to be given the third degree and walk out feeling like a horrible person. The entire visit was uncomfortable. There was another couple besides me and my boyfriend looking to adopt a kitten and they looked just as uncomfortable as we did and when we talked to them in the parking lot they had the same experience We also overheard the sales girls saying some very disrespectful things about us because we are dog owners, Lord forbid we own a dog. We have since adopted an adorable kitten from the Nashville Cat Rescue and they were a joy to work with. I would recommend adopting from them. Cons: Rudest staff I've ever encountered more

I absolutely love the ""Cat Shoppe"". I lived in Nashville for ten years, have lived away for five, and always go for a visit--and to buy a few surprises for my felines--every time I return. The staff is wonderful and they have many items that are very difficult to find elsewhere. If you are a cat lover, stop by! Pros: Great selection--and plenty of felines ready to test toys! more

I have been a customer for some time, and have fostered for Chris. Her shop is such a unique resource for Nashville's animal-loving community. I frequently try to send people there to find high-quality pet food, fun and funky pet-related gifts or supplies, and most importantly--to adopt a special kitty. Chris also provides free and excellent advice -- from inappropriate elimination to food allergies, she and her staff have the knowledge that the other stores just don't have. Though I've had cats all my life, I find it is so helpful to bounce ideas off of, and trade stories, with Chris when I'm getting the supplies I need. I can hardly believe how much I have liked this establishment since I started going there a few months ago. Unlike the large warehouse like establishments, this place a small and intimate place to be in. The staff are always friendly and attentive and obviously expert in providing advice to customers. In addition to a wide variety of all types of pet supplies such as toys and furniture, the store carries a wide variety of the very best of premium cat foods. I highly recommend the Cat Shoppe to any cat owners in the city. Even if you don't live close, a visit to this store will be worth the time and distance necessary. Surprise, The Cat Shoppe isn't just cat-related stuff, it also has lots of beautiful cats and kittens for adoption. They're all rescued kitties and all their vet work is done. They aren't caged; they just snooze and play around the shop. They made me wish I could have a couple more cats. I forgot to ask what the adoption fee is, but whatever---they're worth it! more
