Castlegate Apartments

My advice to you is not to move in these apartment. The staff is not willing to help you with any problem you have. There is no voice mail for the manager or anyone else in the office. Yea there office is really nice since they remoded, but they forgot about the apartments. the kitchen cabinets fell in my apartment, and management tried to blame my family for tearing it down. Since they put them up so bad they had to blame someone. Management doesn't really care much of your problems.\r DON'T MOVE IN THESE APARMENTS YOU WILL NOT LIKE THEM........................\r When you go look at the apartment they are really nice, but don't let them fool you. \r I just want to let any body that wants to move to Castlegate, don't you will not be happy. The manager does not work with you. It may depend on who you are if they do. Since I've lived there, there has been a murder in building 4 & a stabbing in building 17. Police are always in the area. The swimming pool is opened whenever they feel like opening it. They are not very willing to help fix any problems, unless you want to go above there head and go to corporate.\r I'm moving out because they think that having my 3 dogs chihuahua, which weigh like maybe 25 lbs togeather are a threat to the other tenants. \r So if I were you I would look else where for an apartment!!!!! more

If Satin were to open an apartment complex this would be it!!!! Despite the number of shooting related deaths, you could also enjoy a vast plethora of golf accessories flying through your windows sometimes up until 8:30 on those hot, sweaty non working air conditioned nights!!!! A little story for you! About three days after I moved in, im sitting on my couch watching TV and a strange noise can be heard from the kitchen??? What could it be you ask? As I walk around the corner I see the dishwasher sitting in the middle of the floor...Apparently with its 18th century raw horse power, it has ripped out of the cabinet and vibrated to the center of the kitchen....I guess the 4 cents spent on the two dry wall screws holding it in just went enough. So what do you think? Want to come be my neighbor? If you do please don?t forget your bullet proof vest and a couple of gas masks to deal with the mold in the heater closet. O and one last thing, or a piece of advice I guess you could call it!!! Now that its winter I have found out that in the summer months, be sure to turn on the heater instead of the air conditioner because it tends to be colder that way! Pros: Close to kingsoopers and Target! And the grounds look ok sometimes. Cons: They believe that everything can be coverd up by paint! you can tell that everything inside and out has atleast 100 coats over the years. more

This place is THE WORST!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!! It is not worth it!!! Maintenance will take months, literally, to fix even minor problems. The staff is uncooperative. No voicemail for the staff except a ""general mailbox"". So, when you do have a problem, no one will get the message. There are water problems regularly (meaning no water for a day or so EVERY month). Snow plowing is a complete joke!!!! It took maintenance until the end of March to get rid of the snow/ice in our parking lot. You can hear your neighbors thru the venting system. If your neighbors are smokers, the smoke waifs thru the venting system, stinking up your own apartment. All buildings are ""animal friendly"", so you will almost always have some annoying barking dog as a neighbor. I have lived there for 2 years (looking for housing currently) and there have been at least 3 murders, numerous illegal activity arrests, constant staff changes. The ""remodeling"" is done poorly. The kitchen cabinets are cheap and have already started falling apart after just over 1 year. Kickboards and carpeting arent even nailed down. The screen door regularly falls off the hinges. The lights in the mail huts are constantly unlit; the doors to the buildings are falling off the hinges. The common hallways are littered with trash. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!
