Also have classic selections. But more than the selections, what is really exceptional about Castle Flooring is the Customer Service! Julian and Stephanie, the proprietors, really care about their customers! From the very beginning, they worked with me on a personal basis...consulting with me to educate me on tips of the trade that I hadn't considered, giving me the best pricing and arrival dates, and even being flexible when I made a mistake on my order. We have amazing white oak wood flooring and beautiful carpeting in our home thanks to Castle Flooring! We highly recommend the product and the professionalism that is Castle Flooring. I had the best experience with Castle Flooring. After searching for just the right wood for a year (yes, I'm very picky) I finally found Castle Flooring. They had a much larger selection of wood than the big box stores, and the final cost came in at several hundred dollars less than the big box bids. So I got a floor I liked better and it cost me less! What more could you ask for? Plus, Julian is awesome. He is so customer service oriented. I am a big fan of Castle Flooring. more

We chose Castle for new hardwood flooring and we couldn't be happier. Julian was a real pro, and was very helpful with suggestions and advice from start to finish. He obviously cared a great deal to make sure we were satisfied. The installation guys were very good, professional, with minimum mess. A few small issues with some trim work, but they came back promptly and made all adjustments we requested, no matter how small. Because of a plumbing issue, my parents' wood flooring had a 2 X 3 area where the flooring had been removed so that the plumber could jack-hammer the concrete to get to the pipes. As a result of another friend's experience with Julian, I contacted him to see if he could give me an estimate for the repair work. He patiently talked me through all of the repair issues and options and then contacted his floor repair man to go give them an estimate on a Saturday. The price was fair and the following Monday, the work began. In a matter of a day and a half, the repair was completed and you would never know part of the flooring had been patched! My parents were very happy with the results which makes me very happy! Thanks Julian! more

I am just about to complete my third project with Castle Flooring and I keep coming back for a reason! Castle Flooring is wonderful to work with. They have a wonderful selection of flooring, and if they don't have it in stock, they can order it for you. I have done two of the projects on my own (wood floor and tile floor) and Julian has been so wonderful to give advice and tips. He is super knowledgeable and really great to work with (I have even called him up over the phone to seek his advice!). The third project involved having one of his guys repair some damaged wood floor. It turned out fantastic! His repair guy was on time, courteous, and even stayed late to get it just right. Castle Flooring is a laid back, no pressure kind of place where you can get honest answers and opinions and VERY fair prices. I love that it is a local business and they treat you like your business really matters. Go see them! more

Having knocked out our backsplash almost 2 yrs. ago, my husband and I were desperately wanting to finish our kitchen renovation. We had looked at Home Depot and Lowe's numerous times but could not make a selection out of all the options available. One day as we drove down South Lamar we saw the Castle Flooring sign and decided to drop in and see what they had to offer. Stephanie had some time available and we talked with her for quite a while about tiles we liked and what final look we desired. She asked us questions that helped us think through what we wanted as a finished product and what types of tiles or materials would work with the cabinets and countertops we had. We left feeling like we might be ready to make a decision, but we are slow to decide on things and waited for several months before we went back in. This time we took home several samples to test in our kictchen. That helped tremendously. Then we made an appt. for Julian to come out and measure. After he saw our home and kitchen he had some additional suggestions (no pressure; he said alot is personal preference) which helped us solidify our decision. Within a few days, our tiling job was on the schedule and after 3 days our backsplash was in, expertly and beautifully done. My husband and I both really appreciate Stephanie and Julian's easy-going manner, attention to detail, and smart design tips. Finally, our kitchen looks complete and classically stylish. more

We got estimates from 3 different flooring companies for new hardwoods throughout our split level home. Castle Flooring more

Since we had just purchased the home, we were very price sensitive and Julian worked with us to keep the costs under control, even offering me advice and some light training on things I could do myself to prep the space and save some money. It's VERY rare to find such a considerate and understanding contractor who's willing to lose a few bucks provided the homeowner has some basic handyman skills to prep the job. Travis, the installer, was prompt each of the three days he did the work. He spent a full 8 hours just repairing the existing wall -- 20 years old, site of former heavy brick fireplace AND subsequently site of a built out curtain wall. He wrestled with our firebox, ground down cement, grout and adhesive to get a plumb surface before we laid a single tile. Once the prep was done, the tiles got in fast and perfect. Even with levels and steady hand I can't detect a wave (and these are tiny flexible sheets of tile that are very unforgiving. There was an usual grouting issue at the end as we opted for a hearth even with the floor which left a difficult transition between the new tile and our existing tile floor. Travis had some ideas, I had some ideas, and Julian was on the phone with us in minutes receiving photos from our phones and evaluating the options. We ended up with a creative fix that beautifully transitioned and was well ""outside the box"" of a standard installation technique. Travis worked late that day to pull off our last-minute design change. The next day, after Travis was gone, Julian called and emailed us to make sure everything was up to our standards (and my wife and I can fairly be described as ""difficult"" clients) and offered to send Travis back if we wanted something changed. And all the work is backed by a lifetime guarantee, so if there's something not currently apparent, I'm confident I can get Julian back here to fix it pronto. more
