Nice building, but better food can be had elsewhere 8/9/2005

This restaurant serves consistently good food, but it feels like it is trying too hard to create flashy new dishes. It seems that a little more emphasis on the basics could really make this a great place to go to again and again. The atmosphere is great, and the bar is well stocked. You won’t be sorry if you decide to make an evening of it here, but it may be worth your time to explore some of the other great hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants in Lafayette. more
