Best

a small family type place very comfy feeling . the pizza is very good but the sauce they put on the spaghetti is outstanding. never had better. the prices are very fair.

Worst

Place was rather messy, a good place to bring the kids for some Chef Boy Ardee style pasta. Pros: Good Pizza Cons: Poor Pasta, Limited Parking

Not very good! 12/9/2013

Just picked up out togo order and wish people could get things right the spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce was included in my side order of meat balls plane and dry so my meat balls i was looking forwarded to I gave away the half order we wanted was a full order so we had to pay for that and anything we asked for on the side, salad dressing, etc was not included even after they said oh I am sure i put it in there. I didn't bother to have any and just made something else when i got back home since i was so annoyed that they put meat sauce all over my plan and dry meatballs, but my family that did eat there food said it was just ok but we would go someplace else when we got a family meal. I do not think ill be back! more

It Was An Orgasm In Mouth, I Then Had Some Pizza, And I Exploded, The Food Was Just So Damn Good, Reminded Me Of Real Home Italian Food\r P.S. Enza Wall Cool, She Was Nice, LoL, And My Great Grandpa And Her Where Speakin' Italian To Each Other more

My family's local favorite 7/1/2009

As a quick reminder, Canyon Country isn't Italy. It is however a great neighborhood and has great local family owned restaurants like Caruso's. If you're looking for singing and dancing waiters you'll need to go elsewhere. If you're looking for a decent linguini with white clam sauce or a pasta marinara, than this is the place. The service is ok, the decor is primitive, but my family still loves this place because the food is good and somewhat reasonably priced. If decor is your thing, I suggest take-out or buca di beppo's across town where the food is 1/2 as good but the decor is through the roof. I've been to Caruso's three times and haven't met the owners, but i have a feeling they're the old couple working behind the counter. This restaurant has a place in our hearts and bellies and its one of our local favorites. more

Delicious 8/3/2008

Went here the first time for a surprise birthday party. The food is terrific. Especially loved my mushroom and olive pizza. The crust was great. The place is not that big but it always has a crowd. Popular with the locals. Good stuff. more

Unsatisfactory Customer Treatment Experience 5/1/2008

I went by myself to have some good Italian food. We just visited Italy last week (Rome, Venice and Florence) and longed for some good Italian food. So I went here at Caruso's. There was a table with a family dining next to me. After I was given my table, I just noticed the difference in treatment that was given to me versus the family dining next to me. I was not offerred anymore drinks when my glass went empty. I was not asked how my food was while I was eating. And it took them a long time to notice me when I was asking for the bill. I was not offered dessert. I also ordered something in their menu and it was not clear on their menu that a different kind of sauce costed extra, when clearly it says on their menu that choice of sauce was available at the price of $12.80. I was charged more than what I expected. They should change their menu to make it more clear about extra charges. I had a horrible experience with the waitress there. She was a little elderly and is probably the owner. more

Good Italian Food 4/3/2008

I have been to this establishment on numerous occasions, and I have always enjoyed the dinner I have ordered. This is a mom and pop restaurant, and it looks like they have quite a few family members working here. The food is very fresh and tasty. It is not a fancy place, but comfortable. I have also ordered pizza for take out, and would recommend this place to everyone. more

good family restaurant 1/18/2008

Carusos restaurant is the perfect place to go out for a family dinner. It is a cute little restaurant with an inviting and warm atmosphere. The staff is also warm and friendly. This family owned business makes you feel as if you are a part of the family as well. The food is also superb and the have great family specials that are very reasonably priced. more

Ciao - Taste the best italian food 8/13/2002

Caruso's Restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The service is awesome. They are best known for their pizza. I recommend to order the sicilian style crust pizza. Large portions on the pizza and made with the best tasting ingredients. You know a pizza is good when you can eat it cold and it still tastes fresh! Their other italian dishes are delicious. I've been eating their pizza for over 25 years. Pros: great food, great prices Cons: distant from L.A. more
