This was a great little find 7/27/2011

This was a great little find tucked in the old downtown area of Carrollton. I had a mud wrap and mini-facial with Stephanie and the entire process was wonderful, everything smelled amazing and I felt fantastic when I was done. more

Pleasant experiences 7/20/2011

I have had two experiences with Carrollton Square Spa so far. Both experiences have been pleasant and I would be willing to return. My first experience was over waxing. The price was great, the job was well done. My second experience was with Jenna for a haircut. She did a great job. She took her time and gave my hair the attention it needs. I really appreciated it. The spa is tiny and it is located in the back part of a boutique, but I've heard they are expanding into their own building. I'm excited to see how the atmosphere is once they have moved. As for the current location, I've never noticed it being too loud or crowded. more

Best place to go 7/5/2011

This is the best place to go for all your skincare needs because they really know what they're doing, they do an excellent job and the people are really nice! Plus they have the best prices I've seen. And they do just about everything! Whether it's a massage, a facial, or hair removal, they'll make you feel more beautiful than you've ever felt! more

Quaint Little Downtown Spa! Very Affordable! 6/29/2011

I have been going to the Carrollton Square Skin & Spa for a few years now. Every experience that I've had with facials, microdermabrasion and massages have been terrific! It is a quaint little spa nestled in old downtown Carrollton. The spa is very clean with the most friendliest people working there. They sell the best skincare products which I determine to be the Dermalogica Skin Care Line. Hats off to the owner for staying in business and welcoming old and new clients who want to enjoy a little relaxation free of stress in the heart of old downtown Carrollton. more

I LOVE this spa! 6/27/2011

I LOVE this spa! I have been there on many occasions with nothing less that five star service. I go in for waxing, facials, and massages, as well as hair services. The staff is friendly and professional. I won't let any other massage therapist work on me and won't go any where else to get my brows done. Best spa around! more

Great place 6/24/2011

The Carrollton Square Spa is a great place to treat yourself for a massage or facial. Gift certificates are also a great idea to remember someone for a gift giving occasion. I have personally had a massage, facial, and been to the accupuncturist at the spa and enjoyed the services immensely. I am looking forward to going again. more

Always feel welcome 6/22/2011

This is a great spa...good service, friendly owner and staff, comfortable. I always feel welcome, taken care of and at home here! And, it is connected to a great little boutique, Sooz! I love downtown Carrollton and encourage everyone to check out the shopping there. I would much rather support the local merchants than a big box mall. The square has a home town feel! more

I am absolutely in love with Carrollton Square Spa!! I heard through several friends to get my hair done by Kate. She's the most bubbly person I've ever met. I walked through the doors and felt this overwhelming relaxing calm come over me. Every person I met from employees to customers were just so nice and eager to help. Kate made me feel so special and pampered me through the whole process. THANK YOU Carrollton Square Spa for providing incredible customer service. more

Such a trreat 6/8/2011

Try this place if you are looking for a great facial with a reasonable price tag. The ambiance is very soothing and we were offered wine to relax. It was such a treat to find this place...only wish I could find something comparable to it in NYC. more

She is THAT good 6/8/2011

Melissa Ford, the owner of the spa, is AMAZING. She is the first person to wax my seriously sensitive eyebrow area without causing me ANY pain. She's done and I'm thinking, 'I wonder when she's going to get started.' She is THAT good. My brows also look fashion model beautiful...I'm glad something does! Melissa also does a fabulous microderm abrasion treatment. Sugar Bear actually notices how soft and pretty my skin is after I get this treatment. It must be good considering how little else he manages to notice in my appearance. (he never notices anything I change with my hair) I also like the soaps, candles and bath stuff they carry in the spa. Bath stuff junkie...that's me! more

I think I'll definitely go back 6/2/2011

For my first treatment, I had my brows waxed and a salt scrub by Deanna - both were fantastic! She didn't go nuts on my eyebrows, and gave me great pointers about caring for my skin after a salt scrub (no tanning for 48 hours - great tip for a bride who's clearly trying to get a hint of color!). Next, I had a steam treatment immediately followed by a Swedish massage. I had my doubts about the steam tent - I've never experienced one before, and for the first 5 minutes or so I thought the thing wasn't working since I didn't feel any steam, but once the machine got into full gear, it was heavenly. I think I'd come back just for another steam tent experience - but longer next time! The massage from Pennie was excellent. I get frequent sports massages (most often just focusing on leg work from running), so it was nice to get some all-over relief. The pressure was perfect - firm but not intense like a deep tissue or sports massage. It was exactly the right combination of relaxing and effective. I think I'll definitely go back. more

The value was unbeatable 5/31/2011

I took a bridal party and had a few surprise attendees. Although they have a beautiful and intimate environment they were creative in squeezing the additional ladies into the schedule. They were never short or frazzled. Just beautifully accomodating. The value was unbeatable and the deep tissue massage and signature facials are the best we've ever had. more

High quality massage 5/26/2011

The staff is super friendly! You can make an appointment online through their website. Prices are much better than other larger places and just what I am looking for in a spa... A place where professionals are well trained and know what they're doing to provide a high quality massage. I'm not interested in the frills offered by larger places and as other reviews have mentioned you won't find as many frills here. I'd highly recommend the Tension Tamer or deep tissue options for those like me who are looking for some relief from chronic, stress related muscle tightness. They do a wonderful job and you will feel the difference! Writing this review makes me want to go back very soon. more
