Carrol Gardens Vet Group is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 1/14/2011

This place is fantastic! I brought my cats there. The staff are super friendly, welcoming all of us, and remembering our names upon our arrival .Dr. Mollica explains everything with great detail and doesn't act as though in a hurry. She remembers things about me and the cats from previous conversations. I had my new kitty neutered there, and my older cat has gone for a variety of reasons. I feel like I am talking to our family doctor and friend. Highly highly recommended!!!!! more

carrol gardens vet group pc 1/14/2011

I have many pets: an english bull dog whos 7 along with many others for my children and i are animal lovers. Our bulldog is the most problamatic of our pets up until we started going to the Carroll Gardens Vet. It is AMAZING the miricle of how much better our bull dog is doing as well as how friendly and courteous the staff is. This is a vet practice where they actually try and get your pet better and treat them as if it were their own child. I would highly recommend Dr. Erica Mollica as well as her staff. I have seen the other doctors there as well and the treatment was the same. I have recommended the carrol gardens vet to many friends and they were thrilled with the positive response of their pets illnesses etc. We recently got a black headed caique parrot and we will be taking her there as well. It truly is a beautiful facility, clean, animal friendly, nicely decorated, and above all a thorough loving and skilled worker environment. Dr. Mollica has studied for years and is well known with a fabulous reputation. more

Best Experience 1/13/2011

I haven't found a better vet yet! Dr. Mollica is sweet and caring and makes sure that you are comfortable with everything she says. I knew off hand my cats were in great hands. Many thanks to her! more

My experience at Carroll Gardens was great 1/13/2011

best vet experience!!! I don't know if it's true that she is more expensive than other places but if it's 10, 20, 30 more...i'd rather not chance it. the care i received at this hospital in my mind is totally worth it. i have been putting off taking care of my cats teeth because he didn't seem to be in pain and i literally couldn't find the time. when i thought they were starting to bother him i looked for a vet nearby. and i am so happy i found my vet! they were very helpful in getting me an appointment immediately. He's not usually okay in places he isn't familiar with but the openly friendly attitude of Dr. Mollica and her staff seemed to make him comfortable. She seems to have a gentle touch and there's nothing non-genuine in her manners. Both times i had to leave him there for the day. they called me with updates and i got the feeling they babied him while he was waiting. at the end of it all he had to have 7 teeth pulled! their care, attention (via phone calls, answering my questions promptly when i called on weekends) made this a cat a really happy cat! he is so energetic and playful again and he healed perfectly. It should have been stressful, but it wasn't. and, the receptionists are super helpful and caring. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anybody that I know and will be back the next time I need assistance. more

Vet practice steadily declining 8/20/2010

I have an elderly cat and a rescued dog and need to take my pets in somewhat frequently. Let's start with the fact that Dr. Mollica is out of the office due to a pregnancy so she will not be in the office for months. i joined the practice because of her. Roger, her assistant and the front desk guy is unhelpful and not friendly, you feel like you are pestering him and his nose is always in the computer. The fill in vets (which I was not even alerted at the time of my appt I would not be seeing Dr. Mollica) are product and prescription pushers. Since they've filled in I have not left the practice and spent less than $250. The last visit I felt totally taken advantage of with the amount of stuff they tried to push on me so I'm leaving the practice. It's too much stress and expense on top of managing a sick pet which is already stressful. The last way you want to feel when you are tending to a sick pet. Shame, I had high hopes we would finally have a good vet practice in the neighborhood. more

Dr. Mollica is awesome! 8/3/2010

I have a dog, Buster who has many medical issues. I am in and out of vet offices with him all the time. I found that Dr. Mollica took the time to review all his records and had a discussion about how to manage his condition. Turns out he was misdiagnosed from the previous vet!! He is doing great now! Finally, we pass by to say hello instead of sitting in the waiting room with a sick dog. She actually encourages everyone in the neighborhood to come in and get a treat or walk thru the office to get your pet more comfortable. The staff is great and so personable. She is so nice and perfect for the area. more

The firehouse vet 2/11/2010

Dr. Mollica has been caring for our firehouse dog Stewie ever since we had him. Regardless of which fireman brings him in they all come back with the same experience ""she is so nice"". Dr. Mollica used to work in our response area which is how she became Stewie's vet. Now she is at her own hospital in Carroll Gardens which is a little far from us but she is worth the trip. Her new place is a lot nicer too. Pros: ""she is so nice"" more

Finally! A Vet in Carroll Gardens 10/14/2009

The beautiful reception area is what struck me first when I walked into this vet office. It was really nice to walk into a vet office that doesn't smell like one. I met with Dr. Mollica and she took her time and explained to me everything I could do for my pet. She really seemed to care about Max. For the first time in a long time I think Max enjoyed his visit also. I am so glad we have Dr. Mollica in the area. The support staff at the front desk are very friendly and always smiling. Pros: Great Doctor in Carroll Gardens more
