Best food, best shopping! 6/19/2008

I thoroughly disagree with the view below mine! This antique store always offers a wide variety of items, and I always leave with something new. The food in their cafe is exquisite, and I visit every few weeks to enjoy their wonderful chicken salad or a fresh strawberry salad. The atmosphere is very inviting and I feel like the inventory is always well priced. Carriage House Antique Market is far above the bar, and especially high above average. I would refer anyone I know to this place, and would also say that it is the best antique mall in Jackson. Pros: great stuff, air conditioned, place to eat as well Cons: too big! more

Carriage House Antiques 11/28/2005

We enjoy stopping in here when we are in town to visit family. The employees are very friendly, and they have much to look at. The prices range from a steal to overpriced, like almost any antique mall. Overall, it is a large store that feels small; it is very compartmentalized, as it used to be a furniture store, which makes the layout a bit awkward to navigate. PROS: Air conditioning CONS: Choppy layout more

The Carriage House Antique Market is a one-of-a-kind local store that carries everything from top of the line antiques to some very unique clothing and gift items for children. I just enjoy walking around to see what is new in the store and usually end of up leaving with at least one thing new (or sometimes old) of my own. You can find all price ranges here. As the name says, they are mainly an antque store, but when you step inside, you will find a whole lot more! more
