Carpe Diem is the sister restaurant to the incredibly popular Apres Diem, next to the Midtown Arts Cinema. Carpe Diem is located in Decatur, on the outskirts of downtown, in the Ice House Lofts. The building is a renovated old factory, and the bare brick walls and high ceilings show off its past. It has the best patio in Decatur with two levels, next to the train tracks. There's not much better than hanging here on a Friday afternoon with friends, cool drinks and decent food and watch the trains rumble by.
