Carolina Well Drilling

I would not recommend using this company. The services were performed to replace the well casing and it failed the inspection. We had already paid for the services. Our calls to the company were met with a rude woman from the home office. She made it clear to me that I wasn't being as nice to her as she expected and said all kinds of things to me. I just wanted the well problem resolved. When I called the owner's personal cell and left a message, the calls were never returned. I called about 20 times. I had to tell my busy husband, a busy executive, who had to call the owner, who didn't return the phone calls. That night my husband called again and had to leave a message that if he didn't hear from them in 24 hours we would have to submit a fraud claim to the credit card they were paid through. They did come out the next day after that phone call to resolve the problem. Another issue we had was that they installed a new pump without our permission and wanted to charge us another $700 plus, until my husband called them to remove the new one and put in the origional pump that was still working. I would not do business with this company again. more

I am currently replacing a well installation (i am just a simple homeowner) that was originally done by this company and have found the following problems with the well: 1. non-existent grounding of well pump 2. excessive galvanic corrosion of fittings caused by poor grounding. 3. improper PVC fittings. corroded steel/galvanized fittings. 4. knife damaged insulation to the power cable, (caused 2nd failure after copper corroded through) 5. improper/incomplete labeling many wells in my neighborhood (done by the same company) are experiencing premature equipment failure. more

Can't trust this company! Don't rely on quotes- will get a bill for higher amount and then try to make lame threats. Cons: do not stand by quotes more

I would highly recommend this company to anyone having problems with your well. My well wouldnt prime, but there were a lot more problems than I knew. They were here on Friday from 2pm till 12 midnight in rain and wind and cold. They were determined to get me some water. I felt really bad they had been out there so long and in that weather, so I told my son to have them go home and come back Saturday. They were back out about 11:30 am till 5 pm before they were able to get water. They were very determined to get me some water going. I was having doubts because of the amount of time it was taking (as I know nothing about wells) so I did call another company to check and then this company back, but my doubts were put to rest quickly. They have all intentions of going above the call of duty to help people. I wish to Thank the whole staff so much. I dont know how people ever lived without water, I cant. Im very grateful. God bless you all for all your hard work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will most definitely call you again should the need ever arise again. more
