Always helpful and friendly. Stand behind their products and their word. Way better than big box stores or Internet shopping. I'd hate to think what it would be like without these local folks. more

My husband turned in a new firearm with two clips (in its original case) that was jamming. When he picked up the gun and case only one clip was there; the other new magazine was not there, $50 value. No offer to refund or replace the missing clip. I'm sorry just doesn't get it! more

I have visited and purchased many products from this store. Mostly because of convience to location. But every time I have been in this store, most if not all of the personnel that work there are mean, ignorant and not helpful. They don't want to answer your questions or do anything that is more than required of them. Some of the employees I have found know hardly anything about firearms. In fact you as the consumer probably know more than they do. Its a real shame because they could do ALOT better. Do not buy anything from this store if you can help it. Shop elsewhere. more

Years ago it was a fine gun shop..but after Hugo blew through It went under new management and is far below it's original standards. The staff are a rude bunch of under achievers with absolutely no concept of customer service whatsover. As soon as you walk through the door you are treated as if unwelcome and God forbid you actually ask for any help. They are completely ignorant about the stock they hold and are arrogant about their completely over inflated prices to boot! I go out of my way to avoid going there at all costs anymore and this says alot since I am an outdoor outfitter in the low country of S.C.. Rather than use them I go across state lines into Georgia and often drive inland to Columbia and surrounding areas to get the supplies I need to run my operation. more

Good local gunshop 2/7/2012

I have bought a number of firearms from them and have always found their salesmen knowledgeable and helpful.I have also had a number of firearms worked on by their gunsmith and would rate him as one of the best in the Charleston area.Their prices on good and service Pros: null Cons: null more

poor customer service 1/6/2012

I have always heard they were over-priced but went there anyway to purchase some ammo. I was asked if I needed any help and then was treated rudely by the somewhat thin younger guy there. I was going to spend money on ammo and buy a .22 rifle, I was willing to spend about $250. The way he talked to me and my wife was condescending and just flat out unhelpful. I left and then came back 2 weeks later hoping to talk to someone other than the guy I ran into last time. I waited at the counter near the .22 and no one ever asked me if I needed any help. There was almost no one in the store, and I waited about five minutes and left. I took the advice of another reviewer and went to money man pawn and got exactly what I wanted for a better price. Its bad when dealing with a pawn shop is easier than an actual store. I can't wait to spread the word to everyone I know not to go there. Pros: null Cons: null more

Extremely Poor Customer Service 6/29/2011

I made a special 40 mile total trip to this gun shop yesterday in an effort to get my grandfather's 1934 daisy pump bb gun fixed by the gunsmith they have on staff. I was very surprised when the gunsmith would not even look at the gun. Instead he was walking by in the background as he smirked and told the nice gentleman waiting on me that he would have to send the gun off and it would not be worth the shipping to get it fixed. Meanwhile it is a 77 year old collector's item of a bb gun and also a very sentimental family heirloom. more

Poor service,over priced 2/23/2011

The prime example of "the good ole boy's club". If they don't know ya, then you're lucky if you get waited on. The guns is way over priced as is the ammo. If you're in the market for a firearm, check out the Money Man pawn shops in the area, you can save alot of money. more
