Glad to see i'm not alone. As soon as i find another company i'm quitting. They reallllly don't care about employees or the clients. They just care about the number of clients they get. My kid was sent home one day sick. The first time since i have been here and the scheduler got a attitude with me, then the nurse called about how they dont tolerate call outs as if i had did this several times. The patient said if i leave, she does'nt want another sorry working thief in her home, as she has had before me. She said they hire anybody and they never stay. Pros: null Cons: null more

I know most the people that work there. I saw them once a year ,for years. I also know the last comment is the company saying that. Noone there would say that. Most dont even have a pc. You stay around because of the patients. None of my patients ever liked the company, they are just scared to change to another company and say its too much to go through. They really dont like the nurse. And although she is the same skin color, they say she is fake, pretends to like you but is not good at hiding it from the employees or the patients. She tells them when she is coming to do a visit when it fits HER schedule, never mind there schedule or how bad they feel that day. And the other girl just goes along with what she says in the office. the last girl in the office quit last year after everyone asked her to stay hmmmm. Being underpaid and them not understanding why you dont have gas to drive across town for two hours of work can make it hard to care for the clients because they are constantly calling you, even while i was giving a client a bath. The nurse told the other family member to go get me and put me on the phone in a nice nasty way. So a fustrated employee means your mom or loved one is going to get crappy service. I have been employed by this company for serveral years. In the beginning, things seemed okay. I did quickly learn there was an obvious communication problem within the office, which was rather interesting considering there are only a few feet between offices. This company doesn't believe in giving raises, of any sort. In the beginning they will make it sound great to work there, " Oh, you will get personal time, vacation, raises, blah, blah, blah." They fail to inform you in order to get holiday pay, you have to work, or you get nothing. They fail to inform you that you have to have a minimum of 32 hours per week before you can have vacation pay, and you have to be there 2 years. Personal time...is a joke! They want you to work your fingers to the bone, pretty much kill over from stress, before they even think you should have anytime. Your duties are to include providing care to the Elderly and/or Disablied, but you will quickly learn, they want more and more out of you, but with no pay increase. The office administration also feels as though they have to right to tell your clients how they need to live their lives, ex. when they need to wake up, when they need to go to the store, etc. They promise gas mileage, only to find out instead of per mile it is per hour with your client, which isn't even $ .50 an hour, considering how high gas is, this is insulting. So, if you want to work in literal Hell on Earth, this is the place to be. I am getting out just as quick as my feet will carry me. Oh, and one last thing, Nancy, the office manager, will act all kind and sweet, DON"T FALL FOR IT! She is as two faced as they come. Noone has ever spoken to me in such a nasty way over no good reason until she did! more
