I cannot say enough great things about this warm and caring hospital. I've been bringing my five-year-old cat there ever since I got him, and I have never had a bad experience. I recently brought him in due to a sudden and very alarming set of symptoms, and the front desk staff squeezed us in first thing in the morning with no problem. Once in the exam room, the nurses were extremely understanding and thorough, and Dr. Grey was reassuring, calm and informative. She treated us with respect and took our case very seriously. \r \r The team here also seems to understand that even though we love our pets like family, visits to the vet do not come cheap. When I expressed some concern about cost, they printed out a step-by-step treatment plan and the corresponding cost of each test and procedure (they even gave me a copy of his x-ray!) Dr. Grey is knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner with her patients. She put all of us at ease during our last emergency visit, I was afraid of losing my cat after he got into a fight and was bitten and limping. I couldn't believe how good he looked when we got him back, her recommendations and the kindness of her staff really helped us both get through it. Would never take my animal here again, overcharged for unecessary procedures, ended up with a $1700 bill that our regular vet said should've only been $300. more

I took my cat to the Carmel Mt. Ranch Vet Hosp. for 12 years. He was a feisty one, and very difficult at the doctors. They always made him as comfortable as possible and never made me feel bad for his antics. The staff is truly loving and caring. When I lost him after 16 years to renal failure, they sent me a condolence card. So sweet. more

My dog has been going to this office for almost 7 years now. The vets and techs are very nice and friendly and good with my dog. I think they recommend things that may not be necessary, but if you speak with them regarding your concerns they are very willing to answer questions and address your concerns and don't push anything that is unwanted. more
