I will never rent from them again, they didn't refund my $250 and the air went out on the 2nd day of my vacation. .Everyone was hot and my grandkids got sick.So no I will not refer this rental company... more

I'm the coach of a collegiate sport's team and we use Carl's Van Rentals when we have tournaments down in Florida. The vans are always clean, the prices are good, and they're flexible with our rental needs. I highly recommend them! more

Excellent customer service. 5/26/2015

We've worked with Carl's Van Rentals for about six years now. We're a specialized travel group, and the type of van they offer us is extremely helpful. They are friendly to work with and it has been easy to resolve any issues that have arisen over the years. After the first time using their service, the check-in and out process is easy. They also provide convenient transportation to and from the airport. I would recommend them. more

We used Carl's Van Rentals when we were visiting Florida for a collegiate tennis match and they were pretty good. The vans were fine and everything was good; however, my only complaint is the location of where I had to pick up the van. It was a little confusing as it was a random parking lot--they tried to make it easy but it was not all that easy. Nevertheless, the prices were competitive and I would use them again. more

A fine experience 5/20/2015

My overall experience with Carl's Van Rentals was good, but it was a bit pricey. There were lots of extra charges because I was a foreigner, so 48 hours of vehicle use was well over $200. However, the van was in good shape, was clean, and ran nicely. more

As expected, no surprises 5/12/2015

This was my first time using Carl's Van Rentals and I was impressed with their time-efficient, friendly manner. The customer service agents were timely and everything was well explained. The price was exactly what the company promised online, and the rental agents did not try to push any upgrades or add-ons. Time is a concern of mine, and the whole experience was done quickly. I will use Carl's Van Rentals again for their friendly agents, fair price, and upfront information. more

Quick and easy pick-up and drop-off. 5/7/2015

Carl's Van Rentals easy to work with. Everything was done in advance online, so the picking up and dropping off the van at the airport was extremely quick and easy. We had no issues, and I was very happy with the convenience of their service. more

Orlando: best car rental ever! Jacksonville: worst car rental experience. 4/29/2015

I rented a car from Carl's Van Rentals in Jacksonville and the return was not good. They overcharged me $100 more than what the contract was. Also, they did not provide a ride back to the airport. I had to leave the car in long term parking at the airport in Jacksonville. The guy in Jacksonville was a mess. However, a week before that, I rented a car from Carl's Van Rentals in Orlando. I would have given them all 5 stars, it was a really good experience. They did pickup and drop-off with the shuttle service at the airport within 10 minutes. It was phenomenal; the best shuttle car service I've ever experienced. And at an excellent price! 100% for Orlando. Best car rental in Orlando! more

Fast, Efficient, and Friendly Service. 4/17/2015

My daughter was back in town for spring break, and normally we spend the weekend at the beach. This time, however, we were unable to. Instead we decided to rent a jeep and go driving for the weekend. I checked online and couldn't find anything, so I drove down a road that I knew had a few rental car companies. There, sitting right in front of Carl's was a jeep with a big sign saying 'Rent Me!' I pulled in and they were so nice! They were helpful, agreeable, and gave me a break in the price. I returned it with no problems. They're efficient and friendly, and I highly recommend them. more

Fantastic rental experience. 4/2/2015

I had a fantastic rental experience with Carl's Van Rentals. I had called three other services before I called them, and all of them had such a low level of service that I was almost offended. It was as though I was doing them a favor by renting a car from them. My niece was sitting next to me, and she was floored by their low level of service. When I called Carl's, it was better service than I would have expected. It wasn't just average; they were extremely helpful, courteous, and patient. When I actually got there, the people were extremely nice to me. On top of all of it, the van I ended up getting was maybe half the price of the cheapest I had found anywhere else. I'd highly recommend them without hesitation. more

Excellent Customer Service. 1/2/2015

I've had a wonderful experience with Carl's Van Rentals. I own a taxi company and we work with them when we're busier than usual, and need to rent extra vehicles. They have great rates and great vehicles. They work with me and deliver the keys directly to my office. I have been a customer since they opened their shop in Cape Canaveral. They go above and beyond any rental place I've dealt with. I would highly recommend them. more

Easy and fast. 12/10/2014

I had no problems with the service from Carl's Van Rentals. I was able to rent a very nice, clean van for a day and was in and out in a jiffy. Everyone there was more than helpful throughout the rental period and the prices were very reasonable. I would use them again, if need be. more

Carl's Van Rentals parked a van at the airport for us, which was very convenient for us. It was picked up easily and everybody made it to their destination, and it worked flawlessly as far as the van goes. We had a great time and they were very good, very helpful, and it was a very good experience all the way all around! more

The people at Carl's Van Rentals are very helpful. They're local, and they always have vehicles available during season, and with catering that's incredibly helpful. The staff reacts quickly. They provide good feedback and follow-up communication. They also make paperwork easy so that we can get in and out and back on our way. I've been using them for almost a year, and would gladly continue to use them. more

There when I needed them 9/12/2014

We are a preschool and we had a bus breakdown. Carl's Van Rentals got us another bus immediately, for as long as we needed and however we needed. We've never experienced a bus breakdown before, and it was wonderful that there was someone down the street we could rely on and form a relationship with. more

Experience was great, pickup from the airport, clean nice van and car. All was well until I returned the car. I forgot my bag(which contained my iPad, kids Galaxy tabs and Beats) in the back seat for about 5 minutes while I was signing off on the paperwork. I go back to the car and my bag is gone. I ask the workers about it and they all say they didn't see a bag. I tell the workers I am sure I had it, the one guy says he checked it in himself and there was no bag. I tell them, I will check my hotel but I am 100% sure I had it here and I will be back. I get a call 5 minutes in to my cab ride that my bag had been ""found"" cost be 100 bucks in cab rides to head back and get it. I emailed Carl's with no response. This was there Orlando office. more

Very professional and pleasant people to work with. 7/15/2014

My experience with Carl's Van Rentals has been excellent and the consistency in their service and delivery is what has kept me a loyal and satisfied customer. They are very timely and accurate with their customer service goals, responsive both via email and phone, genuinely nice and personable and overall I have no complaints about the service provided. I would absolutely use them again if needed be and recommend their services highly to anybody else in the area or market for a quality car rental company at an affordable rate.
