Carl's Jr.

Carl's Jr. isn't the most disgusting place you can go for fast food. But it's certainly not the best, and probably the most expensive! While the menu is more varied than say, McDonald's, you'll find a more extensive menu at Jack N the Box and with friendlier prices. The only positive thing about Carl's Jr. is that they have a Southwest chicken sandwich on the menu that includes both a spicy sauce and a green chile. I love green chiles so things like this are my downfall. However I've just taken to making these sandwiches at home when the mood strikes me. It tastes the same and isn't five bucks. more

While there is nothing inherently bad about Carl's Jr, there's nothing really good about it either. The cost is a lot higher than you would find at other fast food places, but the quality isn't improved at all. I would recommend if you just have a few bucks to spend to go somewhere like Jack in the Box, which has an extensive value menu, or Sonics which has more options overall. Like with most fast-food restaurants, my experience here has been less than stellar. The workers are grumpy and the food is bland. While I recognize this is a chain so the actual owners may have other feelings, I do know the people who created Carl's Jr (and profit from the franchises) financially contribute to anti-choice organizations. Luckily, I still have the choice not to eat here! more
