THE FOOD IS GREAT...WHEN IT GETS DONE RIGHT... 11/1/2007

I LIVE JUST A STONE'S THROW FROM THIS RESTAURANT AND GET TAKE OUT ABOUT 3 TIMES A MONTH. OUT OF THE LAST 10 VISITS, THEY HAVE MESSED MY AND MY WIFE'S ORDERS UP. I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S A COMMUNICATION PROBLEM, BUT YOU MAY WANT TO CHECK YOUR ORDER VERY CLOSELY BEFORE YOU LEAVE. I DO, EACH TIME...NOW. THE FOOD HAS ALWAYS BEEN GREAT AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SIX DOLLAR BACON GUACAMOLE BURGER. I HAVEN'T HAD ONE ANY WHERE ELSE THAT COMES CLOSE EXCEPT IN HAWAII, AND THEY DON'T HAVE A DRIVE THRU THERE. Pros: THEY ARE QUICK Cons: CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING. TRUST ME. more

Burger Joint Can't Make Good Burgers 5/10/2006

It's a bit of a shame when chain fast food joints (not even good ones) end up on citysearch best lists, though I'm happy McDs isn't up there. Carl's Jr may be good if you only have a couple bucks, but it's better than McDs, which really isn't saying anything since McDs has been horrible for a long time. Anyways, Carl's Jr beef tastes like nothing, and when you want a good burger, you should want the beef's flavor to meld with the cheese, veggies, and sauce instead of letting everything else overpower the beef like Carl's burgers do. If you want to pay for quality, fast food joints are definitely not the places to go, if you're bored of being thin and want to get to be a fattie real fast then eat a couple double $6 burgers every meal and you're well on your way. Pros: curly fries Cons: burgers more

Sorry, Burger King. 10/11/2002

Step aside, Burger King, there's a new (kind of new), char-broiler in town, and this burger lover will not forget the name Carl's Junior for a long, long, time. The Western Cheeseburger (with a curiosity--onion ring in the middle), is very memorable, as well as the ""Six Dollar Burger"". In fact, everything on the menu was great except the fries (and I just KNOW they were having a bad day; this is too simple an item to mess up compared to their other accomplishments) but a tad spendy, which I can forgive them for since the food is so good. A cut above most burger places, just wish there was a location closer to Sellwood area. Pros: Many menu choices, Awesome burgers, Cool commercials! Cons: Drive thru kinda slow, A tad expensive, Not enough locations more
