The Barone family has reincarnated their neighborhood pizzeria as a cheery trattoria serving northern and southern Italian fare, with Argentine barbeque offered on the weekends. The reasonably priced menu includes bruschetta, pasta carbonara, pesto tortellini, chicken marsala, and grilled pork chops. The wine list covers all the bases (with all this we had a Chianti that worked very well with the flavors of the meal). This is not a place where appearances are very important, but if you want good food, a place that works for friends or family and a convenient location – try Carlo’s.
