Caring For Cats

I moved to Philadelphia 4.5 years ago and moved to my current neighborhood a year ago. it was then, I discovered Dr Guth's Caring for Cats practice in Manayunk neighborhood. I was searching for a Vet closer to my new neighborhood and did a search right here - I chose Caring for Cats because it is a practice for Cats only. I have only taken my cats to animal hospitals that treat both cats and dogs. Dr Guth, is very caring, compassionate, friendly and knowledgeable. her staff too, is very caring and friendly, as well. All 3 of my Cats have seen Dr Guth and are much calmer when going for their vet visits. I highly recommend Caring for Cats. The Hours are reasonable: Open 6 days a week, with 2 late nights until 7pm on Mon and Thurs. Also, the prices are reasonable for exams and lab work. The only con I can see is she is not set up to do surgeries. So, she will do all the lab work needed and refer you to metropolitan or UPenn for the suergical procedures. I decided to go with CFC based on the review and price. I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities and service. The facility is modern, clean, and decorated very well. From the moment I walked in I felt at ease. Dr. Guth and her staff handled my shy cat very well, and took time to answer my questions and give us a plan for the future. I know when I take my cat there he is in good hands. more

I take both my cats to Dr. Guth at Caring for Cats, and I am really pleased with this practice. Dr. Guth and her staff are kind and sweet, which helps put my boys at ease, and they are willing to chat with me about any concerns I have without making me feel rushed. As an added bonus, the cats know they won't run into any dogs, and I get the peace of mind of seeing a cat specialist. Prices are reasonable, too! Pros: Cat specialist, kind doctor and staff more
