Took my wife in due to a high fever. While in their lobby, our 2-year old cut was cut when the magazine rack fell on him. They treated him for free, of course as it was negligence on their part. They still billed my wife $246. For whatever reason, my insurance company didn't pay the bill. We learned we owed this amount when my wife went for an ailment recently and they refused to see her. She could have paid cash on the spot for the most recent problem. They wouldn't have it. I should sue them for the scar my son still carries on his face. more

3 year old dislocated arm, one place turned us away, tex presb hosp took 4 hours(happened more than once), Carenow, immediately in and in 5 min arm was back in place. Thank You Carenow. The hospital could learn from you! more

Several weeks ago when I got sick with 102+ fever, horrible coughing and a sore throat, I went to CareNow because I don't have a family doctor. I called the Allen location and they told me I could come in and wait, or I could check-in online and wait for them to call me to come in. I ended up doing the online check-in. It was so helpful to do that! I was able to rest until they called, and once I got over there I was called back to be examined within a few minutes. The front office staff as well as the nurse that took me back to the exam room were so nice and helpful! I saw Dr. Clark. He came in within a couple of minutes after the nurse left me in the exam room (unlike other Dr. offices where you have to wait at least 30 minutes on a good day for them to come in). I got a diagnosis of a sinus infection and pneumonia and got on the road to recovery. Unlike other doctors I have been to, Dr. Clark actually read my chart to find out what I was allergic to. He discussed with me about the medication he was going to put me on. CareNow called me the next day to see how I was doing, and then again three days later to make sure I was improving. No Dr. I have ever had in the past has called me to see how I was doing after an illness. If I am ever sick again I will go to CareNow without any hesitation. They are wonderful! I have been using this Care Now location for over two years. I have always had awesome care and service. Never had any problems with appointment and or health care. I would reccommend these guys to anyone!!!!! more

I've been there a few times for a variety of things, including a piece of wood that scratched my cornea. \r \r The call-ahead for appointments works great...they called back punctually and I was taken back to see teh doctor within 5 minutes of arriving for my scheduled time. When I've just been a walk-in, I was still able to get in within 20 minutes of arriving...not bad!\r \r Every time I visited this facility, I was met by a freindly person working the receptionist desk. The waiting room is very spacious and always has a good, family-friendly movie playing to help the time pass. \r \r The nurses and/or doctors that treated me were very knowledgeable and up to speed on my on my condition...they diagnosed my illness/situation accurately and I sent away comforted. \r \r While I try to stick with my in-network doctor when possible, this place is a very happy alternative when needed.\r \r Pros: Great call-ahead appts., friendly, knowledgeable staff Cons: None come to mind. more

I went to this clinic in the frist place for a sinus infection that I was given Amoxicilin for. Two weeks later I was still coughing and dripping like an old sink. I called in requesting them to put in a prescription for some stronger antibiotics and they instead put me in a prescription for some cough syrup. WTF?! I went back in for another apointment and was wating for over an hour before I left utterly disgusted at the care I had received. The staff are completely incomptent, not even knowing where the CVS up the street is at. Obviously the doctor is more concerned with creating repeat visits than he is about the health of his patients. I have never been so poorly treated by a doctors office in my life. I shouldn't have to go into a doctors office twice and risk catching something new while I am there when I have already been diagnosed. Save yourself multiple trips and go to a real doctors office where they will give you newer antibiotics. Cons: Incompetent staff, Doctors unwilling to prescribe proper med more
