I am currently a student at CCI and seem to have no problems with the VN program thus far.I have confidence in the instructors, and believe that they are doing everything in their power to train us into becoming great nurses in such a short amount of time. more

I haven't even started yeah and have already had bad experiences. This school is extremely unorganized and loses paperwork often, some of which include social security numbers birthday ect. Now they keep changing the dates and times for the classes and just now mention that all the facilities are in Lancaster and can range anywhere between LA and Bakersfield... lovely... also i have heard from friends a few members of the staff drink on the job! i already paid so i have to try however I don't recommend this school so far! more

I'm almost done with the x-ray program. I've had wonderful instructors and I can't say enough good things about this school. My only complaint is that the program should be a little longer so that we have more time in school prior to our externships.\r Thanks CCI Ventura, you have made a huge change in my life. more

I enrolled in their Medical Billing course about 2 years ago. took out a loan... paid 100.00 deposit. After all that, they cancelled the classes 3 times. needless to say I cancelled my registration with CCI, filed a report with the BBB, and didn't received my deposit back. Now they want me to go back and give them another try...run people..run.. Totally a joke. my rating says 1 star, but you have to atleast put 1 to post... mu true rating is a -. more

This school is AMAZING!!!!!! They really work hard in making this a comfortable environment. After reading all the reviews, Im actually quite shocked at things that were said. First off, I personally know some of these people and they are just not all there. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they present themselves. No place is perfect and yes it is family owned, but the people that complain and have issues are usually the ones that bring it upon themselves. So please dont let these people obstruct your opinion about this school until you check it out for yourself. They cant please everyone!!!! This is only 8 complaints to their 400 + students. more

I am guessing that most of the reviews here were written by the same person, judging by the same (bad) grammar and mispellings. That said, my daughter attended this school and did have a lot of problems. Mostly with other students, since the school seems to accept just about anyone, including gang members and ex-convicts. As long as they can get a grant, I'll guess. They do seem to have a high turnover of both teachers and students, since it must be difficult for some people to maintain civilized behavior in a classroom setting. My daughter was harassed and threatened by other students, and the school's response was less than desired. Although at least one of the offending students was dismissed. (Maybe the one who posted all of the negative feedback.) That said, there are not a lot of other school choices locally for this kind of vocational training, and none that offer an accelerated course. This school is dangerous and negligent. I have cited numerous safety issues with them. Which they didn't appreciate. I was a student until they terminated me, but not before they irradiating me unknowingly (and others) while pregnant. They took the grant money and I still have a loan due.\r I would always see graduates returned by employers. They do not have a good name. more

As stated in the other reviews we too have had a bad experience and I for one am moving forward with filing a formal complaint and have contacted the news stations regarding this "SCHOOL" CCI as I stated no problems for them to steal the pell grants? I think they need to be exposed! I do not appreciate the fact that they took advantage of a 17 year old and saddled her with about $15000 debt through lies. I will start naming names. This is not a good school to get a quality education. You will find a hard time getting a job after attending this school. They will say anything to get you sign up for this school. It is run like a buiness, not like a jr. college. Find a jr. college. It is not worth paying so much to a school, where the staff is all family members. it is a family run business with all their friends working there. more

I advise you to find another school! Really... It's that bad! I attended their limited x-ray tech program, which is way over priced! Back then it was $12,000 heard it's gone up to $17,000. They hired a medical assistant/limited x-ray tech to teach the class & get this... she had ZERO teaching experience! They are also limited w/ intern sites so students are waiting +/- 6 months to get into a site to do their internship. The school doesn't give a crap about their students. They are just money HUNGRY! Oh and their passing rate is low! Trust me & find another school!!! more

This school should be shut down I don't even know how its still running except for the fact that they lie to their students. Their passing rate for the Nclex was only 51% in 2008 that's a joke there are schools that costs less with a 100% passing rate. Not to mention the amount of matureness that the students and faculty members lack is ridiculous. People here key cars, threaten you with bodily injury, and gossip like crazy. Its the most pathetic excuse for a nursing school I have ever seen. Not only that they are constantly re hiring teachers and they give you minimal direction to pass theory as well. Its a joke don't waist your money! more
