Two Rivers Salon & Spa 8/25/2011

I had a great waxing experience with Samantha (legs, bikini, facial). Actually it was the best waxing experience I have ever had. She is very professional and very kind. I felt very comfortable with her immediately. My hair is not easy to deal with and I have sensitive skin too. She absolutely loves what she is doing and knows some tricks to experience less pain and remove the hair with the roots without breaking them. My skin feels very smooth and gorgeous now. I am going to try facial with Samantha too. Thank you Samantha! more

AMAZING SALON! 6/29/2011

I came into Two Rivers salon two weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. As soon as I walked in, the staff was extremely nice and energetic. I was greeted and offered something to drink, (which I have never experienced before). The retail and waiting area was so modern and bright! Not to mention the gorgeous chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The products they offer are, and seemed, very high-end, because of the class and sophistication of the salon. I felt as if I was in a salon somewhere in L.A. or New York. My stylist was so kind and sat down for a consultation before we actually started. She knew exactly what she was doing and made me feel confident the entire time. I loved how I felt like I was the only person on my stylists mind at that time; gaining her full attention. My results were great! I loved everything about my hair, and was excited to have something new and modern done! Overall, I had a wonderful experience! There was such great energy and vibe with all the activity going on around me. I will be returning and letting all my friends know what a great find Two Rivers Salon is. more

Love my skin! 4/18/2010

I've been going to this spa for a little over 4 months now. I love my facialist, Samantha. She helped my skin sooo much. I started worrying about my crows feet and my skin complexion started looking really dull. The facials she gives me feel soo good, better than a massage. And she is so helpful and knowledgeable about skin I feel like she always has the answer that I'm looking for. The products they use are top notch and worth it. I love being pampered and I love that when I look in the mirror every morning my skin looks better and better! If you go, ask for Samantha! Pros: beautiful atmosphere, great service, reasonable prices Cons: none more

Clearing up my Complexion 11/2/2009

I have always had problem skin but after having my last child it took a turn for the worse!! I tried all of the over counter products and bought all the creams off the TV and when nothing worked one of my friends recommended me to Jill at Two Rivers. I picked up the phone and made the call. I booked for a facial but once I got into the room and Jill saw my skin she recommended doing a more aggressive peel. After explaining my options we decided that the glycolic peel would work the best for my issues. I didn't expect it to really do anything but a few days after my peel I noticed a huge difference. I was so impressed that I have continued to work with Jill and she helped me pick out products that I could use at home to help my skin in between visits. My skin has never looked better!! So for anyone out there that is looking for straight forward information and great results with skin care I would recommend Jill and Two Rivers Spa to ANYONE!!! Pros: Knowledgeable Staff, Friendly, Clean more

Best Massage Ever 10/6/2009

First of all, I was given a massage certificate for two rivers. I don't really like two rivers because it is super inconvienent for me to travel to from downtown Boise. I almost gave my certificate to my friend cause I was not going to drive to Eagle for a simple massage. Well well well, I went and did it and was very very lucky to get scheduled with Ursula. I travel ALOT and am ALWAYS getting massages in other cities and I will bet my life that you have never felt as good as Ursula makes you feel. I usually cannot relax at all but in the first 5 minutes I think I was drooling. I would drive to Jupiter to get another Ursula massage. Unfortunately I have been back and got other people and it just isn't the same. Pros: They have Ursula Cons: I forget to request her and get other people sometimes more

Needed a updated style 9/29/2009

WOW!! I walked in with roots and split ends and I left with the BEST haircut I have ever had!! Everyone that works there is so nice! I was greeted with a smile and offered a drink! While waiting for my stylist I was looking at the variety of products and I had 2 different people ask if I needed help!! My color turned out GORGEOUS!! Awesome cut and color!! I will be back for a facial! Pros: Beautiful location, Clean salon, Educated stylits Cons: I had to wait a few days for an appointment, but worth it!! more

Great massage 7/23/2009

I loved the hot rock massage I got from my husband for our anniversary. It was the perfect indulgence and had a wonderful experience. I don't remember the massage therapist's name, but she was a sweetie and super professional. Very relaxing and worth it. The reception gals were not very friendly, but I haven't encountered many at salons who are nice. Since I was going out to a nice dinner afterward I was excited to see their restroom full of products you can use to help freshen up after your treatment. Loved the experience, but am a little afraid to go in for a haircut, reading the encounters published below... more

ok 4/15/2008

Had their Two Rivers pedicure. It was so crowded and busy, noisey and not very relaxing. Pedicure was good, she knew what to do. Peidcure thrones over look Boise river which is an added bonus. I would go back, but pick any day but Saturday. more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! 3/5/2008

This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a review on a hair salon. The first time I went to Two Rivers Salon & Spa (I had a gift certificate to use), I felt like I was treated terribly in the front waiting room, ignored and then "oh, would you like something to drink?" I was brought into the hair salon and was very unimpressed. All of the niceties were in the waiting room, while the salon part was dirty with hair all over the ground, the music was drowned out by the gossiping stylists. My stylist, however, was very sweet and did a wonderful job on my hair cut and color. The next time I went back (despite the bad service and employees... I did like my stylist), my stylist was sick and I had to go to another stylist. Needless to say, she was horrible. The color was done bad and the cut was hacked up. I was not happy at all and was told to call later. I called later and was "squeezed" into an appointment with a male stylist to fix it. I had to ASK for it to be complimentary after already spending over $125!!!! He was quite rude, while attempting to be appropriate and slimy nice... yet never pulling it off. He left me in the shampooing chair with my head extremely uncomfortable while he ogled women walking by and then even cut and styled another woman's hair while I waited with my neck kinked backwards!!!!! The color came out too bright of course and he tried to fix it. The cut to fix the bad cut, was not too bad, but not great. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO TWO RIVERS! It has taken over 3 months for my hair to be "cut-able" again. This time I'm going to try Todd Stewart Salon. I've heard nothing but great reviews, unlike two rivers salon, so I'll let you know! Pros: There is one good stylist... Waiting room is very nice. Cons: Stylists, gossiping, bad customer service... more

not so great experience 8/31/2007

My husband bought me a gift certificate for xmas. I was really excited about it, but not impressed here. I had a pedicure and manicure and felt rushed and the girl who gave me the services was saying never get your haircut here because all our stylists are terrible and gossiping about alot of people that walked by. My massage on the other hand was very good. This is a really nice space and salon but there staff leaving out the massage therapist seemed straight out of beauty school. My advice is advanced professional training needed here. more

Go with confidence 8/9/2007

By "go with confidence" I mean act like you know you belong there. Don't wait to be treated like you do. I've been to Two Rivers a few times and here's what I've noticed: I am treated like I belong there if I go with my boyfriend; but not if I go alone. (I'm 23, so I look fairly young, which I guess doesn't fit into a place like that?) When I got my hair done, they had some pretty rediculous add-on fees and the girls weren't particularly professional. They are clearly trained to ask if the client would like something to drink, which my stylist did - I answered, "yes, I'd like a water please." I'm not sure if she didn't hear me or forgot to listen, but she never acknowledged my answer and never got the drink she offered. The massage is the best there and the pedicure isn't bad. They seem to have the appropriate add ons to the other non-spa places around town. The stylist center does, not, however - so save your money there. Pros: massage, pedicure, atmosphere Cons: consistency of attitude, sylists more

Felt like the last customer of the day 8/1/2007

I accompanied my friend for their Signature treatment, the Hawaiian Honey Steam wrap. The Massage therapist that took care of me was Andrea Charles. And while she was a nice person, my treatment was not the enjoyable experience I was expecting. Here is what happened: ? Each part of the treatment seemed to go very quick. As Andrea applied the salt scrub, removed, applied the honey, and then wrapped me for the steam room, it was all very rushed and was not relaxing at all. ? After the steam, we were taken back to our rooms to have the mango lotion applied. Andrea actually asked me "Do you just want to stand and I'll apply the lotion really quick....or I guess you can lie down under this blanket if you prefer". I was in shock that she gave me an option to stand undressed and skip lying down for the completion of the treatment. I kindly let her know I'd prefer to lie down under the warm blanket. This was my first experience at a spa, and in my opinion could have been much more relaxing. To come to a beautiful spa such as Two Rivers and spend $90, I do not want to leave feeling like "the last customer of the day". I sent the above detail in a letter to Two River's management asking for a refund. They never contacted me to address the complaint. Pros: Ambience Cons: Service, mangement, cost more

AWESOME PEDICURE 7/26/2007

TWO RIVERS SPA IN EAGLE, IDAHO ROCKS MY WORLD! I TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT HIS FEET WERE OUT OF CONTROL ... I SENT HIM TO THIS SPA AND I AM NOT KIDDING ... I DIDN'T MIND THE SNUGGLE THAT NIGHT! WHATEVER THAT WOMAN DID ... WAS NOTHING LESS THAN AMAZING. HIS FEET WERE SMOOTH AND I DIDN'T HEAR HIS FEET SNAG THE SHEETS ONCE IN THE NIGHT! HE'S SIGNED UP FOR A FOUR WEEK TOUR! Pros: EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE Cons: HAD TO WALK FIFTY FEET more

Please dont waste you time or money!!!! 5/21/2006

I just moved here and wanted my hair done in a relaxing spa. I thought Two Rivers might be the place. The hair area of the spa was too crowded. The girls were unprofessional. You should'nt have to listen to your syltist answer her cell phone. Everyone was gossiping and making fun previous clients. My stylist tried to pressure me into buying products that she didn't use on me. I was charged for having extra long hair (my hair is about 1" past shoulder). Then I was told if I wanted my hair to look like the picture I brought I shouldve just dyed it (which wouldve been about $40 less). To top it off I was asked how much I would like to tip my stylist infront of several quests. I spent $145 on a foil and hair cut. Please dont waste your time or money on this place! Pros: pedicure area Cons: atmosphere, cost, employees more
