I took the car in first thing in the morning and it was done mid-day for well under $200. My a/c fixed. For under $200. These guys are legitimately honest, knowledgeable mechanics.

Thank you! 8/17/2011

I would just like to let you know that I am very pleased with the service I received at the Naperville. The owner, and one of the tech took excellent care of me and my 2003 Honda Element. The front washer fluid pump had stopped working and I had been dealing with this problem for almost 2 weeks. They ordered the part and got me fixed in about an hour the day the part arrived! I just wanted to say thanks and let you know that you have a good team at this shop...see you next time. more

Superb place to get your car fix! 8/8/2011

I'm so glad that Car-X Auto Service get such good ratings... it's so hard to find a great mechanic, and they are the best. Honest, trustworthy, skilled... they are a triple threat. \r \r My father in law told me about this place, I told my dad, I told my friends, and I told my coworkers. I just can't keep my trap shut about this awesome place. more

Awesome place 8/3/2011

Awesome place to go if you need a reliable auto mechanic in the area. Prices and parts are cheaper than your local dealership and these guys can get the job done. They'll also call you to let you know what needs to be done and how much it will be. I've never had a problem here before and I'd give more than 5-stars to Car-X Auto Service and its crew if I could. more

Honestand Trustworthy 8/1/2011

I had a good experience when I came here about a week ago. I got my brakes done and I didn't have an appointment. They were able to get me in right away and fix it in a little under an hour. They also showed me a few other things that I needed to service but without pushing me to get it. I liked how they not only told me, but showed me. It makes me feel like they were honest and trustworthy. I was really comfortable here so I will be coming back to get my other services done soon. more

Cheap and Quick Fix! 8/1/2011

I came to Car-X because my air conditioner recently went out. They were able to to check it out and fix it within no time. The staff was helpful and really nice. I would definitely recommend them to anyone for a cheap and quick fix! more

Good work, trustworthy recommendations 8/1/2006

I have received very competent, honest work from Car-X. The Naperville Chevy dealer quoted $400+ of work that was "needed": new brake pads, resurface\r rotors, etc. The Car-X inspection showed that I had 15K-25K more miles left in the current pads. Car-X measured the pads, showed me the specs - in short, provided good, honest recommendations. No charge. Months later, when Car-X did the work for me - they were more than $100 cheaper than the dealer. Car-X has earned my trust ... and my follow-on business. PROS: Honest work, fair prices, courteous service CONS: No pick-up/drop-off service more

Car X Auto Service 11/16/2005

Car X Auto Service is the place where I go from time to time to tune up my car , buy tires when I need them , rotate the wheals , do oil change for my car or truck . Last time I went there to fix my car because it was leaking oil really bad . I had this problem for a while but just did not have time to take care of the car . Well , they took care of the problem but it was not cheap because I actually had some other problems with the car . I paid about $ 400 for all services and I was without a car for about four days ! Not really a good deal but at least I got my car fixed and I don't have any problems with the car for now . Not yet ! more

Good service 9/2/2005

I have had my brakes done at this place last week . This guys did a good job for a very reasonable price. It took them 3 hours to change brakes but they were good ! I recommend this place to my friends because this car service really does a good gob ! Next time I will come back to them to check and rotate my tires ! Really a good job ! more
