They lost a head count. However, from what we hear, Tom is not going anywhere so I think the company is doomed. I hear though that our build used to be a nicer place years ago before he moved up in the company.... shame.
Now the building has just been left to rot, phone calls aren't returned. When Tom's voice mail is full and we inform the from desk of this and leave our message with someone else at the office we get a quick call back from Tom.... and a very rude ""my voice mail wasn't full, I check it every night."" Right...... that's why you didn't know my apartment was broken into the night before right? Because you listen to your voice mail.... uh huh.
Well Tom, my apartment hasn't been broken into since I won our fight on the phone and bullied you into fixing our ""security gate"" (which you claim isn't a security gate as ""the only building that's secure is a prison"") quite a charmer you are..... Oh wait, that wasn't you, that was the other woman in the office who managed our property before you. How was it that she was able to fix it in a day and keep it fixed this long and in your hands it stayed broken for over six months?
I try to be a hands-off tenant, I'm not needy, I pay my rent on time and I take excellent care of my unit. However, I have never had to deal with a someone as difficult as this man before.
What's amazing is that all the people who live in this complex have bonded together. We are all on a countdown to leave. Our building is over 1/4 empty now and I know three more units that will be giving notice in the next two months.
Be warned, Tom will only appear nice until you sign and MAKE SURE to have copies of ALL your deposits and walkthrough paperwork.
