Capital City Daylighting showed up on time and gave us a good price. They were flexible enough to make an adjustment on the fly at my request, and they cleaned up after themselves. They were also polite and courteous. more

Capital City Daylighting did a great job, they were very professional, on-time for the appointment, informative and cleaned up the job area when the installation was complete. Very professional and I am really happy with the natural light. I would recommend them to anyone!! Kathy more

We decided to install the Solatube Daylighting System in our home. The man from Capital City Daylighting remembered me from the first contact we had. They came on time and kept a clean and tidy work space. After the installation was complete he explained the warranty and what to do if I had any questions in the future. I felt the possibility for a continuing relationship with them. I really appreciated the sense of relationship. more

Very good experience 3/26/2012

Ron worked very hard to deal with a bit of a roof issue; all turned out great. I was very pleased with the amount of light that was brought into my very dark office, but the quality of the light was a bit surprising--very cold/blue. I bought some yellow cellophane and made a "filter" and it has been working very well. A bit more yellow than might be ideal, but definitely better than the white/blue light. Capital City Daylighting were very easy to work with. They were quick in getting back to you and they have a very fast turnaround time. I like that they are a family business, and whenever they came to work on the house, everyone was part of the family so it was always comfortable to have them in my home. I would definitely use them again. more

Totally delighted with Capital City Daylighting and our new Solatubes! 3/6/2012

Our family recently purchased a home built in 1979 - the "era" where not having any ceiling lights was popular. We were looking for a way to brighten things up - as well as both of the bathrooms had exhaust fans that did not work properly. After doing research online, we contacted Capital City Daylighting, and talked directly to the owner - a very personable and knowledgeable person. We chose to have them come install 3 Solatube daylighting systems, and even tho the weather was windy and cold, they arrived on time, worked quickly, AND cleaned up any and all mess! We couldn't be happier with the results - and invite all our friends over to see how great things look now... more

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT; TIMELINESS/PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGE OF INSTALLERS. THEY ANSWERED ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS AND WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT. OUR HOUSE UPSTAIRS IS 5 - 10 DEGREES COOLER IN THE SUMMER. more

Best value for a big change! 3/5/2012

I had always been disappointed with the darkness of my family room after we added a porch room onto it over 20 years ago. Love the porch - but it sucked up all the sunlight and left that part of our house dark and cavelike. I knew we couldn't actually put in a skylight because above the family room is aan attic in the garage eaves. This was a wonderful solution, as the metal tube could go right up through the attic. The diffuser we chose is attractive and it truly illuminates the entire area without draining electricity. The company was just great to work with - very professional and knowledgeable and the whole process took very little time. We were also in the process of completely remodeling our patio and backyard landscaping - a hugely more expensive project and honestly, I'm just delighted with this relatively modest fix. Who would have thought something so simple could make such a difference. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. more

Excellent service 3/2/2012

Service was above and beyond in helping to repair a unit installed years before by another company, then damaged in a remodel by contractors unfamiliar with the unit. I highly recommend them and their product. more

Great service, great lighting one of the best projects we did. 3/2/2012

We love our lighting system. It was the first project before our complete remodel of our 1970's kitchen. It has added so much light to our kitchen and dinning room. Even on cloudy days the light is amazing.On really sunny days we have rainbows dancing around the kitchen. Could not have wanted more the service was terrific. We highly recommend Capital City Daylighting. more
