I live and work at a hotel in Palm Springs, one of our guest wandered into Capelli's Salon and got a haircut by Marci. It was a very nice haircut and the our guest really liked it as well. I was so impressed with the guests haircut and his comments that I walked in but Marcie wasn't there the guy at desk said she would be back 1:30 so I booked an appointment to come back. I got a call 10 min before my 1:30 saying that should would not be back in for the rest of the day. I rescheduled me appoint for the next day at 10:30am and when I showed up I was told that she is out for the day but he (the person at the counter would be happy to cut my hair). I asked why wasn't I called if I had an appointment and the gentleman behind the desk took attitude said he was TOO BUSY ... there was only one other employee sitting in a chair and NOBODY else in the salon. I questioned him why I didn't get the call like they did the day before to let me know and he got a real pissy attitude and walked away. The other employee walked up and apologized he was nice (I didn't get his name) he asked if I wanted to reschedule the appointment and I said not at this time. I called back the next day to speak the the gentleman who gave me such attitude and he told me on the phone "" I don't have time this or you"" and hung up the phone. It turns out this person I was dealing with was the owner. YES the owner who not only tried to steal me away from Marcie but gave me the worst attitude when all I was trying to do was get an answer why I wasn't called as before. I went to his website and sent him a message on his guest comments board. It's been a week and the Owner ""Carlos"" has not replied. I've been fair and now I feel you as the consumer should know my experience. Carlos the owner of the Capelli Studio Salon is the most unprofessional person I've dealt with in a very long time. I would still like to get my hair cut by Marcie becuase none of this is her fault. She just works for a very unprofessional boss/owner. more

Daniel's knows just what I need in a hairstyle. He couldn't be more pleasant to chat with; he knows what he's doing, and takes time for details. Daniel's also the go-to person for any brow shaping. Seriously, when I walk out the door feeling great about my on-trend looks. So glad I discovered Capelli's two years ago. I visit repeatedly every time I'm in Palm Springs. more

I am an extremely picky person when it comes to hair and I usually never like to change my stylist but Roger has definitely taken my breath away with his marvelous work! He is amazing at cutting hair, styling, coloring, highlighting, and just about anything you can think of! I drive 150 miles just to get my hair done by him. Thanks a million Roger!! more

Thanks Hillary for a great color and cut! When you are from out of the area for the winter stay its hard to know who to see or not. I took the advice of other reviewers and don't regret it. Give Hillary a try she knows her stuff and is fun to talk with also. more

Talk about a happy accident! I inadvertently had the pleasure of sitting in Hillary's chair at Capelli Studio and my head will never be the same. A true artist, she sculpted my hair into a masterpiece that has drawn rave reviews since the moment I stepped out of the salon. She is exceptionally talented and tenacious. Capelli has always had terrific stylists – from Katie to Roger — and with Hillary, they've hit the creative mother lode. Go. She does not disappoint. more

...welcome to town, and lucky me to have stumbled upon you! I went with my partner who was getting her hair cut. As we were talking, Hillary made suggestions about my hair and before I knew it, I was in the chair. Generally, stylists have the sign up that reads: ""...I am not a magician."" However, Hillary is ~ I went from ok to I LOVE IT in one hour - GREAT color, TERRIFIC cut, and the price cannot be beaten. Thanks Hillary - I'll be back! more

I allways go to Capelli when I want to get my hair done right the way I like it. The stylists are friendly and welcoming. Hillary did an awesome job with my hair . She is perofessional and has a personal touch. I will allways be comming back to see her. more

This salon was fantastic, just visiting a place where I usually dont go to just any salon, the trendy intimate setting really got me in. The stylists were accommodating, the cut was perfect and growing out even better. If you havent been to this salon its a must go!!!!! more

I was visiting friends in Palm Springs this weekend and was in desperate need for a hair cut and color. My friend recommended I go to Capelli Studio. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Hilary not only did a fantastic cut and color to my hair, but she was very professional and made my first experience there so wonderful that I will definitely recommend her to my friends and will be back to continue receiving salon services there. more
