We had some System One full length truck boxes installed, when they were shipped they must have been secured to the truck with straps that bent the doors on both boxes halfway down and also had very large and visible dents. The boxes were mounted with old rusty bolt that were put in with long sharp lengths that cut your hands up as you go in and out for tools! The dents also made the handle and locking mechanisms operate poorly. It took much longer for the job to be done in the first place and aside from that when we mentioned all this at the time we picked up the truck we also mentioned the fact that there were scratches, dent and scuffs on the truck itself (65k Ford F350) which albeit a work truck is offensive. An older gentleman (father of owner?) came out to inspect the issues and as I mentioned the structural rib for the door was bent hence compromising its integrity, he the spun around with his arm raised to strike me until he saw what he was about strike... This did not end there, we went in to speak to the owner and he simply said "that's all you get" facing the wall and not me ?!?! That was it! We were just supposed to eat it! We called System One and they said "you need to resolve this with the installer" BINGO! Catch 22...
This was a great deal of money spent for bad workmanship and costly repairs to the vehicle,
