I have been going to Canyon Park Dental for about 20 years. The staff and doctors are the best I've ever had the pleasure of working with. They keep up on all the newest technology and make the whole experience painless and as pleasant as it can possible be. They treated my kids wonderfully when they were young, and my boys are not easy to work with! I have several health problems, and they always make sure to see if my meds have changed, how I'm feeling, and to make sure my diabetes isn't affecting my gums. I personally see Dr. Weller, but have also seen Dr. Peterson, and like them both. I would recommend them to anyone and hope they never retire! I have been going to Dr Weller and his staff for several years. They are very professional. I have changed insurance several times, without a hitch. I have been a patient at Canyon Park Dental for over 18 years now. Dr's Petersen and Weller are so very patient, gentle and painless. They do awesome dentistry. The clinical staff are compassionate, kind and on the ball. The front office staff is welcoming, pleasant and knowledgeable. I was shocked to read marie555's review below. It is impossible to believe what she wrote considering the great experience I have had. It is clear to me marie555 had unrealistic expectations of a ""first visit"" with a dental office and probably will not be happy any where she goes. As far as the estimate is concerned, as estimate is not a guarantee and gives APPROXIMATE figures. Maybe marie555 needs to take some accountabilty in knowing her own insurance benefits and quit playing the blame game. I was out of town recently and needed to get Canyon Park Dental's phone number to reschedule my daughter's appointment. I used citysearch to find it. When I read the comment that was posted, I had to post my own.\r Canyon Park Dental is by far the best dental office I have ever been to. I was deathly afraid of going to the dentist and, consequently stayed away for several years. Finally a toothache prompted me to ask a co-worker for a dentist. She told me that Canyon Park was where she and several other of our co-workers went. I made an appointment, and with fear in my heart, went to the office.\r WOW! I felt so comfortable! No one made me feel ashamed for neglecting my teeth, the front desk staff was warm and inviting. The Dr's assistant who saw me first was as sweet as could be. The Drs (I've seen both Dr Petersen and Dr Weller) are the most gentle and caring dentists I've ever known.\r As far as the bill goes, their prices are about average and I've NEVER had a problem with my account.\r I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CANYON PARK DENTAL! At my first visit, they didnt schedule enough time, so they rushed me out and the hygienist acted like she didnt know what was going on. The dentist said I needed work done, and I asked them to send me an estimate.\r \r Even though the estimate of charges reflected LESS work than I had done, I was changed SEVERAL HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS MORE than it said. An error of 74%! Their explanation was that they hadnt worked with my insurance before. I have Delta Dental, and I have a hard time believing that their office hasnt worked with that company before.\r \r Short and sweet, choose another dentist.
