During the spring through fall, this is an ideal location to take stunning photographs. The grounds are open to visitors and provide a beautiful background. It is a very popular spot for weddings. Their clubhouse offers a wonderful venue for a shower and the food is incredible. The grounds are perfect to accomodate any kind of party, event or celebration you could plan. Cantigny Gardens & Museums is another great place to take the family when you have an afternoon free. There are beautiful gardens to stroll through and a small museum to explore when you get hot (or just interested in history). The best part is the old cannons on the property. The kids love climbing all over and exploring them. It makes for a fun afternoon. more

This is a great place to spend a day. It boosts of beautiful gardens with many variety of unusual flowers. There is a war museum with short movies and displays for all to see. Outside the museum are huge tanks and cannons. My children used to love to climb on them. It makes for a nice outing. PROS: Fun for all ages CONS: none more
