LOOK at your wings before you eat them!! 5/1/2010

was there last summer, and what we got were not chicken wings. they looked like chicken heads and other weird pieces. Maybe they butcher their own chickens and threw the wrong stuff in the fryer....I dont know, but it was gross. It used to be good but it has really gone downhill. Not worth the annoying wait. Cons: dirty glasses and chicken heads more

All Around Great Tavern Food 12/26/2007

This place is still going going stong after being there for over 50 years .Durning the 60's and 70''s it was one of my hangouts. Everthything they did was wonderful. Several of my friends went there recently to see there old hangout. Yes the hotwings are the best, but so was everything else. Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

Wings are the best in the NYC area...trust me, I order wings everywhere I go. I also recommend the waffle fries...especially with the jalepeno cheese dip (if you like the "cheap plastic" kind of cheese like at ballparks). Good beer prices too. Go early if you can...the wait can be a LONG time if you go at peak dinner hours. Pros: Great food, good beer prices Cons: long wait...not near anything else so it takes awhile to get to more

Want great wings? This is the place to go! It's a divey, bar atmosphere - but the food is great! They have a few "healthy" items on the menu - but this place is great for finger foods and "heart-attack" foods! this place is grrrrreat...the kitchen's open til 4am, theres a bar inside, u can sit outside on the patio...its perfect for groups....beats the diner late nite....the wings are amaaaaaaazing! its the kind of place u keep coming back to! very chill place...not at all trendy Pros: open late, blazin' wings, nice patio seating Cons: not very trendy, kinda outta the way more
