Ahh, the Candlelight Inn. What a wonderful place! I've been going to the Candlelight since I was a kid growing up in Westchester. When I was 8, it was great to go there with my mom and family for snacks and beer (beer for them, snacks for all). When I was 17, it was one of the places that I could actually get served alcohol at least 50% of the time. The wings are beyond compare, and the mozzarella cheese fries are amazing. I wouldn't go there for "real food" but with a kitchen that is open until 3am, who is looking for real food anyway. I remember when I was about 19, we would all be at JPs (another bar in Hartsdale, now closed) and at around 2:30, a sound would be heard across the bar: "Who wants wings?" We'd call the Candlelight and order obscene quantities of wing-age and then send the soberest to pick it up.
There is nothing better than Candlelight ExtraHot Buffalo wings in Westchester County. Nay, in the whole of the NYC greater metropolitan area. I moved from the area in 1998, and still stop at the Candlelight everytime I am in the area. The wings are that good.
