Can she be short tempered? Absolutely. Will she baby during your difficult divorce? Absolutely not. Ellen might seem a little rough or even a little bossy, but she knows her stuff backwards, forwards, every which way your ex will try to **** you. It's laughable that the unhappy clients below complained about money primarily. My guess is that they never paid their bill and she pulled herself from their cases in order to avoid spending more of her time on these dead-beats. It's insulting that these people would resort to calling her uneduated and unskilled in litigation when she has at least 5 framed diplomas and over 10 years experience owning a firm. Obviously divorces can be very ugly, but I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to have handled mine two years ago. She was exactly what I was looking for (a pitbull in a nice suit). She was 100% professional at all times and her staff was straightforward and to the point. As a working mother, Ellen is extremely considerate when it comes to other peoples schedules and tried to fully accomodate the my schedule with three kids. I've recommended this woman to coworkers, friends, even relatives. Please note that these other "reviewers" have only left 1 review ever. The fact that jdoethefirst made allegations regarding drugs and drinking is beyond disgusting. more

Ok, she doesn't deserve even 1 star, so disregard that. Ellen Cronin-Badeaux is the worst attorney ever. I completely concur with the other reviewers in their assessment that she is incompetent, rude and only cares about billing and her bottom line. It's amazing she graduated from law school, let alone college. I have to believe she cheated her way though. She is incompetent and may possibly be a drinker or on drugs....she's disoriented in court and relies on her co-counsel to keep her on task. Her staff is rude and border on complete idiots as well. I ended up with a bill coming close to $100K and ended up receiving NADA....that's right, not one dime. This was a community property case. Her billing clerk is rude and has no idea about book keeping. Please, please, please don't go to this woman. She is the worst of the worst and hopefully she will get disbarred soon! more

I curse my self as to why I went to this attorney. I lost the case and all my money. I had hired her for a domestic dispute issue and the woman totally let me down. After 2 days she calls me to discuss my file. Guess what ! She has the wrong the file ! Seemed that she was totally out of touch and poorly educated in matters of litigation. Later she whacks me with a 1600 dollar bill. Most of the charges are confusing and unexplained. Terrible customer service from unprofessional office staff. Do not hire this stupid woman. She is just a dollar grabber. more

Never hire this attorney. I did the mistake of going to her with a custody case. She delegated it an associate and never knew what was going on. Although I got the judgment in my favor, she left a bunch of untied loose ends for which I am getting SCREWED now. Call her with a question or email her, she will send you a bill and charge the crap out of you. Cares nothing about her customers AND SEES THEM AS CASH COWS ONLY. Woman is rude, ill-tempered, poorly educated and grossly dishonest. Stay away from her or you will PAY A FORTUNE FOR NOTHING !! more
