I do not like this vet. When my dog got sick and I took her their the vet that I had was not very nice. He did not know what what wrong and did not seem to care. I would never go ...

AWESOME, KNOWLEDGEABLE, CARING! 3/10/2011

Awesome, caring, knowledgeable. I take my all three of my cats here for their veterinary care. I have never had better vets. They have ALWAYS taken awesome care of them, always. I am able to bring them in quickly should the need arise during office hours. I have NEVER had a problem with them. I am writing this review because people are complaining about the cost. I can assure you this, you can find cheaper vets, but you WILL get what you pay for. You pay cheaper vet prices, you will get cheap care. There are many local vets where I live, and they have cheap prices. They also don't know what they are doing, and will end up harming your pet. I drive an hour to get the very best care for my cats, they deserve it, at CANANDAIGUA VETERINARY ANIMAL HOSPITAL. more

Dr. Casale has not been with the Canandaigua Veterinary hospital since January of 2009. He is now with The Country Vet in Canandaigua. He can be rated with five stars. The same cannot be said of the Canandaigua Veterinary Hospital. more

Smith Steven M Dvm - Canandaigua Veterinary Hosp is AWFUL! 7/22/2009

AWFUL!!!!! Had 3 visits here, waited over an hour the first visit, and over half an hour the third visit. Received a referral to see a specialist... turned out to be COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY and cost me $172 for two five-minute evaluations resulting in NOTHING!!! I will NEVER go back here. more

Corporation of Profit Grabbers Takes 7/9/2009

I started with them when it was a private practice but then it was taken over by Monroe Veterinary Associates. Since then it has become a high powered medical practice where more time is spent going over the cost estimate for treatment with you than the treatment plan. Prices have skyrocketed but the quality of care has diminished. According to one of the local pet magazines, Monroe Veterinary Associates has hired a public relations person to help with the business!! Say What????? Give me a break; I'm looking elsewhere. more

I have used them with my previous dog and they were good with her and had some flexible hours but we found they are still quite high priced. I did like that they did her pawprint at the first visit though. more

Great staff and Vet Doctors 2/16/2007

I first started taking my Yorkie for his routine shots in 1984, when Dr. Ferraglio was the lone vet there. She was thorough and compassionate.\r In the last 5 years I have been taking my ferrets to Dr. Randall, although he doesn't like to be challenged by your "online expertise" he is a fine doctor and very knowledgeable when it comes to ferrets. They are now staffed with over 6 doctors and helpful staff and is now open to emergency hospital services. more

Wonderful Veterinarians and Staff 6/8/2006

I highly recommend the Canandaigua Veterinary Hospital. While our dog was sick, the doctors and staff were patient, caring, and compassionate. They answered all of our many questions, scheduled appointments on very short notice, and provided us with a lot of information about our dog's condition. The doctors were very knowledgable and the support staff was kind. more

Vet's office 11/11/2005
