Horrible experience 3/13/2011

Me and the 7 other people I dined with last night will be NOT be returning to this restaurant. We made reservations two weeks in advance for a birthday of a close friend and within an hour ofs being there, the manager kicked us out of our table and move all of our belongings and drinks to the other side of the restaurant. We had barely finished eating and were ordering plenty of drinks...it's not like our tab was cheap. This is really bad business and you shouldn't have made the reservations if you knew a big surprise party was coming in right after us. Word to the wise, don't treat people like they are dirt and kick them out of their RESERVED spot because you are a bad manager and can't plan things right. It was a Saturday night and we ordered a lot of appetizers, meals, and drinks and planned on staying for at least two hours to celebrate our friend's birthday. However, apparently our patronage wasn't good enough because the birthday party after us was MUCH more important. None of us will be back and trust me, we will be telling everyone we know about this crappy experience. more

Forgettable 4/26/2009

I'm always looking for restaurants that participate in the Aadvantage Dining program that offer a weekend brunch, so I was excited to see this restaurant's website showed a brunch on Saturday and Sunday. A co-worker and I tried Campania at noon on a Sunday, only to find out they weren't offering their brunch that day. They were out of all pasta dishes except the rigatoni, which had next to no sauce. I had the Quartro Frommagi Panini. It was tasteless except for the gorgonzola and was the first panini I've ever had with the bread still soft. When it was time for dessert, the manager said they were out of everything except the Nutella pizza. The waitstaff was apathetic at best and refilled our drinks with the wrong beverage. Overall, neither of us would eat here again. Pros: location Cons: Poor Service and kitchen not stocked for menu more

Closest to the authentic Italian pizza we have found here in the Grapevine/Southlake area... 11/14/2008

They always say complaining people are the only ones to write bad reviews... not us, and in fairness to Campania Restaurant, we would like to praise their food and service, the previous reviews must have been isolated cases.\r I took my wife and daughter there last night and we liked the food. We've been to Italy and Campania's pizza is the closest to the authentic Italian pizza we have found here in the Grapevine/Southlake area. We like the authentic Italian thin crust, right amount of sauce and the imported toppings were delicious!. We don't like the Americanized pizza with thick crust, and rather eat more slices of the thin with the toppings they use! The young waiters were courteous; my wife and I decided its our new neighborhood pizza parlour. Pros: Food taste more

The Worse 7/9/2008

I ordered delivery for a napoletana pizza with eggplant, pepperoni & mushroom. It arrived at our home no more than fifteen minutes later. Half the pizza was eggplant the other half mushroom & pepperoni. This is not the way we ordered it. All the slices seemed individual even the way it was cut would suggest it was pieced together. No sauce, lukewarm, the eggplant was one extra thin circular slice on each triangle cut (again it was half the pizza). Total cost including delivery was $30.85. \r \r I have never tasted such lousy pizza. I'm from the northeast and I know my pizza. This hands down was the worse. Save your money and go elsewhere. Pros: none that I can think of Cons: I would grade them less than a pizza chain and also frozen pizza at the supermarket more

Horrible service 4/14/2008

Went on Sunday evening and service was horrible. Several of us had their pizzas but they were burnt on the sides. Pastas arrived 20 minutes before the pizza. Manager was indifferent to our complaints. Waiter was probably the worst server I have ever had. Had to ask for water 3 times. Hope it was a bad night or this place will close quickly! Pros: Location in Southlake Town Center Cons: Horrible service, meal not served all at one time to party more
