We take our dog here twice as a week, because, as two working adults, we are concerned that we don't get her enough exercise.
She always comes home happy and exhausted (that's a good thing).
We have tried several other camps in Denver, and we decided on this one after a few test days. Dogs have a way of telling you whether they like a place or not -- our dog now recognizes Camp Bow Wow LoDo and gets excited before she goes in. We had taken her to another place before we tried this one and on the second day she was scared and growled at the guy at the front desk -- our dog is not a growler. We didn't take her back -- and good thing!
Here, most of the camp counselors know her by name now and I always feel good about leaving her there for the day. Hovey is a sensitive dog but she feels right at home at Camp Bow Wow LoDo!
I've also been impressed by the staff -- they're very professional and customer-service oriented. They also send out great coupons every now and then!
The Doggie Cams are pretty cool too -- I don't necessarily watch them, but the fact that they have them means that they're good to the animals.
They will also feed your dog lunch (a big bonus) for free if you want them to.
We've used their bath services a couple of times -- it's $38, which I think is a bit pricey (the camp bow wow in boulder was only $15 for a bath), but they seem to do a good job and she smells good when she's done.
Overall, a great place!
