Camco is by far the worst company that has ever existed...ever. When I was having problems with my internet they informed me that they are ""not my service provider."" I then went on to explain to them that I pay them every month, they provide me with internet, thus they are my service provider. (It took a minute for that to sink in with them). After month after month of issues with the internet they FINALLY sent out a technician to my apartment. Their so-called ""technician"" was 2 hours late to the appointment, checked our internet speed, and when he saw that it was operating at ONE mbps he told us that it was working properly. I asked how someone is suppose to use internet that operates that slowly and he suggested to my roommate and I that we either (1) switch to AT&T or (2) build our own internet hub. Why would an internet service provider suggest to its customers that they switch providers? Why would a technician suggest to two young girls that we build our own internet hub? THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE. I eventually cut off internet service through Camco and got AT&T. Furthermore, the so-called ""manager"" of this business informed me that a voicemail I left (another request for them to fix my internet) was so ""absurd"" that he played it for his entire office and they all laughed at my expense. The fact that someone would do that to a customer is shameful. \r \r Now, I still have Camco cable because it is free through my building and, until now, I have not had any problems. I am not getting basic channels like ABC. I called to have them fix it and they told me that I need to call DirectTV to have this issue resolved. I asked why I need to call DirectTV if they are my cable provider and the woman on the phone told me that they are merely an installment company. What?! more

This is the WORST internet service ever! It also happens to be the ONLY option available to residents of Intracoastal Yacht Club. The service is constantly down (going on the 4th day in a row) and it's such a slow connection you can't even use Skype! more

Worst Service Ever!!! 11/21/2011

This company is a joke. I have only had it for two weeks, and have had problems with the direct tv service they installed and the internet connection is slower than 92% of the united states. I can't stream any type of video, and it was so bad last night, I could not even log in. I called them and was told they are waiting for AT&T to repair? I am stuck in a building that only offers service through them. Definitely moving out of here by summer. I can't handle poor satellite service and the worst internet connection I have had in 15 years. So slow it reminds me of the old dial up modems!!! more

The apartment complex where i live only work with comco. They take advantage of take by jack up the price so high that you can't even get a good package. If you were to go to with directtv directly, you probably would have saved ten to fifteen dollars every months. Their customer service is horrible!!!! more

The worst cable provider company ever in United State. Recently I moved to Miami and m stayin in the apartment complex where they have monoply to have ""Camco"" cable service only. Our bad luck that we can not get any other service provider. If you want to order directtv, it has to through Camco. My HD dvr went Bad and it took 2 weeks for directtv+Camco both to replace with new one hddvr. The worst customer service..if you call Camco with some problem, they lady who pick-ups the phone will not even listens and understand your issue. You will left with more frustration and anger............... Pros: search for it :) Cons: worst service ever more

So in my building you can have camco (puke) or you can have direct tv installed and setup by camco. To make a long story short, ended up with camco (puke). Hadn't even been 30 days of service yet and they sent a bill for a whole month, they say thats fcc regulations (which is false). if you want good cable service for cheap DONT GET CAMCO! this is ridiculous that i only have one damn choice in cable........either you get crappy camco or you get NADA~! i hate the fact that i cannot choose my own cable company!!!! this is a free country damnit! not only is there only one choice but its expensive......to get what they call BASIC cable which is all of 5 channels its 10 bucks....basically you get channel 2 which nobody watches and some other gay channels that no one ele watches either......to get their BASIC EXTENDED is almost 80 bucks a month!!!!!!!!!!! Ok. I've only been living in my apartment building for a couple of months so I can't really say anything bad about the internet or cable...yet. At first I did experience problems with the set-up, but that's it. I do find it unfair that management only gives you this company as an option and there's probably something behind that. The best way to let others know though is to the Better Business Bureau. On their website I couldn't find ONE single bad review about the company and where they give it a rating of A - (yes! shocking!) So they definetly need to know what's going on. I AM ANGRY ABOUT THE FACT THAT IN 2009 IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, A FREE MARKET ECONOMY, I dont have the right to choose a cable provider that I want. I live in a building where u cannot get comcast cuz they have a contract with this crapy company, its just really bad, the worst customer service ever only open 9:30 to 5 and their lines are always busy, if you make a payment over the phone they forget to put it in and your account gets disconnected, u call n complain, they forget to call the tech to reactivate it, when they finally come they get the cable back up n forget the internet!! Its just the worst cable/interenet company and its not like they are the cheapest. more

I signed up on here just to complain about Camco (AKA Scamco). I live in an apartment building that will only allow Camco as it's provider. Well, that's because sCamco gives the complex kick backs!! Let me tell you, you only get 80 channels (incl HBO, Cinemax, etc.) for a whopping $85. And the premium channels are like only one of each. For example 1 HBO, etc. Pros: No pros what so ever! These Camco guys are hopeless. I suspect a nexus between this cable company and the leasing office. In Fontainebleau milton you cant get any other service provider than these people. And we all know what monopoly comes out as. They have the worst possible customer service, they have the worst internet service ever and I have lost so much money because their billiing department is so messed up. The customer service is very very BAD they always said give a minute that takes like 10mins while i listen to the radio thanks to them. All the other reviews are certainly true. The company has horrible and rude customer service. Complaints to the general manager Alan don't help as he is worse than the customer service desk. I have filed a complaint and provided my complaint to my apartment complex and filed with them as well. They know that they are the only providers for certain complexes and areas or you have to pay huge deposit fees so they don't care how they treat the customers or the service they provide. First of all, I do not know why citysearch had 4 stars for this stupid and crappy company. I would not recommend cable or internet service through camco even to my enemy. Horrible customer service and they play cheap business tricks to make money. The customer service people does not have a clue about their job. Every time I called them with questions, I got a different answer. So, do not believe them.
