Exceptional California Sunrooms Contractor 2/6/2012

Glenn Skidmore, owner of California Sunrooms, was especially challenged by remodeling my 2000 sq. ft. poolroom. Glenn gathered a very competent crew to evaluate the structural integrity, foundation work and drainage based on hillside problems. He and his crew brought a 35 year-old structure up to code and the result is fantastic. The project was done timely and clean up was excellent. Words cannot fully express how happy we are with our sunroom addition from California Sunrooms of Walnut Creek! We saw many companies and some fast salesman and then we found this company through their website. They were so professional in every way. They got back to us right away and booked an appt after reviewing our initial needs. A day later the owner Glenn came over to see us and he already had spoken to the building department about our home lot to see what we were allowed to build. He spent about 1 1/2 hours of time listening to our needs, establishing a budget and designing our sunroom to fit both. He explaining the difference between a sunroom addition vs a patio enclosure. We decided on a sunroom addition that would add the square footage onto our house. We added more value to our home than the sunroom cost us! We wanted a home office and workout room. We interviewed many companies and California Sunrooms was the clear winner. Their knowledge and caring about our needs and budget was incredible. Their professional, no sales pressure, just clear education allowed us to make the best decision. Our new sunroom is a work of art! It has a solid insulated cathedral ceiling with 2 large skylights. Where there is pleasure, there is no losing! 10/3/2011

I love my new sunroom! It initially started as an addition to my converted garage studio workspace, but it so beautifully brings the outside in, that we often enjoy it for dinners under the stars, intimate parties and just relaxing. Those of us in the Bay area know there really are too few nights when we can eat outside. Now I don't want to come in the house! Glenn Skidmore and his crew at California Sunrooms are courteous and skilled. In any construction project issues arise, yet when they did, they were handled professionally and to everyones satisfaction. The sunroom fills half our yard, but gives us double the enjoyment. Outstanding company, workmanship and service goes beyond the expectations!! I can only say that the workmanship and team work from start to finish was well above my expectations. The team concept used starts you off knowing a good bit of what you can expect but comes NO where near to what you actually get. (AWESOME finish product) Sitting in my new sun room, it's true, it is the outside brought inside we love it. I highly recommend this company over the many others I met with. more

Conservatories 7/26/2011

I grew up in the building trades and have been around contractors all of my life. So when any remodeling projects have come along for the past three houses my wife and I have owned, we did the work ourselves. Obviously, this was not possible with a project as extensive as a sunroom. We feel most fortunate to have selected Glenn Skidmore of California Sunrooms to do the work. We have loved the 20x27 more

We Interviewed the Rest, Identifying Calfornia Sunroom as Clear Best! 6/19/2010

My wife and I interviewed three highly regarded general contractors and worked with an architect to gain perspective on a build-out of a home office before calling California Sunrooms. In comparing California Sunrooms to standard construction we determined that California Sunroom provided superior quality and a much better value. We worked with owner Glenn Skidmore, a true professional. With 20 years of construction knowledge he designed a sunroom to best fit our needs and budget, without any sales pressure. Visiting the Walnut Creek showhome was a deal winner. My wife is a perfectionist (in a good way) and seeing their many styles in person furthered our well-founded confidence. The quality of their Four Seasons product lives up to its name, where the home office is a year-round hub of activity and comfort. Glenn Skidmore was the most knowledgeable and professional designer I could have possibly wanted. He was more interested in my sunroom design and overall happiness then receiving a check. I would highly recommend this company to everyone interested in learning the real information needed to build the perfect sunroom addition.
