I usually go to the triangle town mall location and I have to say, the staff there are great... they're really friendly and they know how to have fun w/ their customer... the food is good but their service is what keeps me coming back... hope they keep it up :) Pros: good customer service, good food & fast Cons: prices could be better more

good pizza no suprises 11/19/2006

California Pizza Kitchen finally made its way to RTP a few years ago-a welcome addition to the Southpoint shopping. The CPK Durham addition lives up to the chain name. For pizza it may seem pricey, but the unique combinations are delicious. The salads are enormous, hold the dressing to the side if you don't want it drenched. Take a friend and split a pizza and salad or appetizer. No good ol' southern sweet tea, but the lemonade is a tastey alternative. Be sure to get on the wait list as the line can be incredibly long. Sign up, do some quick shopping, eat, then catch the newest flick. Pros: tastey goodness Cons: cost, lines more

Watch out, you will leave wanting more! 7/13/2006

This place makes GREAT food, i thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I had the Fettucine and Garlic Cream Pasta with mushrooms and chicken. The complimentary bread, went very well with the sauce, and the Peach Lemonade, superb! Pros: Excellent Food Cons: My server was rather dull, but i guess you don't come for the service but the food. more

EXCELLENT!! 6/22/2004

The pizza here is amazing. Definitely on of the best non-NY style pizza places around. Try the pear and gorgonzola pizza, it's fantastic!! And the honey wheat dough is not to be missed!! Pros: Inexpensive, Good Parking, Excellent Food more

great all around resturant 10/18/2002

I couldn't even describe how wonderful of an experience I had at the southpoint location. We went in for a Thursday lunch and like the other reviewer sat at the bar. The server was extremely knowlegeable of the menu and recommended an excellent fett. pasta dish. This happened to be our second visit and will continue to return. Unlike the other rating, we have been before with our infant and never had a problem with being seated. As with any resturant, one has to be more patient when you have a special seating request. Pros: clean dining area, clean restroom, baby changer more

Gourmet Pizza gets a thumbs up 8/24/2002

Upon our first trip to Triangle Town Center we stopped by California Pizza Kitchen. We opted to sit at the counter (basically the bar), and eat our meal there. The pleasant suprise was that the counter gives a full view of the kitchen, so we were able to watch the pizzas being made and pulled from the oven. It was quite a show. We received excellent service...and of course our food was delicious. We recommend the Peking Duck Pizza, Chicken Tequila Fettucinne, and Singapore Shrimp Rolls. Pros: excellent service Cons: no reservations more

CPK is Double OK 8/22/2002

The most interesting and diverse flavors in the Triangle, and the crispiest crusts. You must try the Thai Chicken Pizza on Honey Wheat crust...it's a must eat! At least once a week. more

Welcome to NC 6/27/2002

I love the pasta....their desserts are also GREAT. The Pecan Caramel sundae is my favorite! more

Excellent lunch 6/10/2002

CPK for lunch at 11:45. Server was great, never had to ask for tea refills. Had crusty, freshbaked bread while waiting, yum. The menu is extensive, something delicious for every taste. Atmosphere is bright, clean, busy and contemporary. We had a large BBQ chicken salad, beautifully presented/plenty enough to share. This was great! Then split a 5-cheese/tomato pizza. To the reviewer with the comments on seating w/highchairsstick to Golden Corral, Mac's or Ruby Tuesday and stop complaining just because busy places cannot easily accommodate your baby. Not every place is a good place for your child to be and its unfair to rate badly just cuz they didnt have a place to safely seat your baby. Lots of diners really dislike sitting next to a messy, noisy child. Pros: bbq chic salad, good service, good breads Cons: bit noisy more

Not As Kid Friendly As We Thought 6/6/2002

We went to CPK with six including our baby. We told the hostess we would need a high chair. We waited for a large booth because they couldn't break up the available tables. After 30 minutes a booth became available, but we were informed we could not use a high chair b/c its a fire hazard in the aisle. All of the large booths open to aisles, so we had to wait for smaller tables. At this point the restaurant was very crowded. After 50 minutes we finally decided to leave. The manager offered us a gift certificate, as we were halfway out the door. Since our baby was starving we declined and decied to get him fed ASAP. I loved CPK in Atlanta and thought it was a good family place, at Southpoint it seems they are more interested in numbers than service. more

Good Pre-Movie Pizza 5/15/2002

Went here for the first time a few nights ago--we just wanted to grab a quick bite before a movie, and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is bright and open, and the service was quick even though the restaurant was busy. Great pizza variety, as well. Pros: Good variety Cons: Crowded more
