Moving is a huge deal, especially across the country. California NY Express Moving was exceptional. They assisted me in every phase of the move with professionalism. I moved from my apartment in NYC to their storage facility also in NY hoping to be able to move across country in six months. My dream came true and my furniture was then moved across the country in a timely and terrific way. I received daily emails as to where my furniture was in the process. Once the movers were here they were quick and efficient, same as the service I received in NY. California NY Express made the move go VERY well and I highly recommend them! \r Pros: everything! more

I was moving from Los Angeles to Houston, Texas and called up these guys. I know their name is CA to NY movers, but I thought I would give it a chance, and I'm really glad I did. They come out to your house and survey your place and to tell you the approximate cost. Their movers are very courteous, friendly and patient. They packaged everything I had very carefully, and upon delivery put everything back together again for me. Moving was made painless. Also, i know what you're all wondering- what was the cost. For a one bedroom apartment, it was VERY COMPETITIVE, about 1/2 of what two other leading companies were charging. A great company all around. I had a great experience from start to finish!! With only days to find a mover and get the contents of my small storage unit on a truck from LA to NY, I called California New York Express and my estimator (David) was out the next day (at the time I asked for). David was extremely helpful and responsive. Even after he'd finished with the estimate, he stayed and gave me packing tips to help me save money. The price was great and they were flexible on pick up times so I went with them. And I am so glad I did. The pick-up and delivery crews were fast, friendly and professional. I liked the email alerts telling me where my belongings were and I had positive experiences when I called the main number with a question. Everything arrived on time. The bottom line is I paid a great price and got great service. I would definitely use these guys again and have already recommended them to a co-worker. Pros: Great price and great service more

Just finished my move from Bronx, NY to California!! California New York Express made this transition as easy as possible. I was helped by the nicest people at their offices... The two gentlemen who packed and moved my furniture were very friendly and once my stuff was in transit I was emailed daily as to where my furniture was. I asked for a specific delivery date and was accommodated exceptionally... I would definitely recommend that anyone moving out west or back east don?t move with anyone else!!!! Absolutely love this moving company! This is the second time I have used CANYX. The first was from LA to NYC. This recent time was from NYC to PHX. Everyone I have worked with was very responsive, courteous, professional and hardworking. I have heard horror stories about moving companies, but CANYX are the exception. While one box was misplaced during my most recent move, they located the box within days and it is on its way via FedEx to my new home. I was so pleasantly surprised how quickly my belongings arrived at my new home. It only took 4 days to arrive! Definitely made the transition into a new home and state easier. I will use them again and again and again. Out of a HUGE move, and I did the packing myself, only a small mug was cracked. Amazing! I shopped around and got quotes from other national movers, but the quoters seemed very shady and would never give an exact answer. It was always within ranges for the other moving company quotes. Loved the guaranteed pricing that CANYX provided. Loved how hard the workers worked. Very efficient and wrapped everything perfectly. They do exactly what they say they will. Didn't like that a box was lost, but loved the response and follow up to find it. Issues may arise, but the important factor is how the company responds. I recommend them without a doubt. I ABSOLUTELY love this company. I've used them twice so far and I will definitely keep using them for every other move I have. I'm very happy that they do local moves now too! To be honest, I was hesitant to use them the 2nd time because I read some weird reviews when I started shopping for moving companies for my move back to NY from LA, but thanks to talking to Peter, I just went with my instinct and used them again because I thought they were so fantastic the 1st time I used them. I just keep raving about this company to all of my friends and colleagues. This is such a great company to work with. Everyone was always professional, never stressful and quick and easy to work with. I would have preferred to have a better idea on when my delivery move was going to occur (I was on a strained time line) instead of playing the guessing game, but since this was my 2nd move with this company, I was good at my guess. :) I cannot stress enough of how fantastic every one of these team members were. Loved the friendly and flexible customer service – Elizabeth, Noel, Lilach, Eyal and Peter were GREAT!!! The movers, headed by Rico, were so understanding. They were in and out quickly and very professional. Our move had several kinks in the road but your team willingly worked with us and made us feel very much at ease!! I recently moved from NYC to Santa Monica, CA and spent a fair amount of time researching moving companies. I eventually narrowed it down between Oz Movers and California New York Express. Initially the quote from CNYE was higher than at Oz, but after some negotiation and work I did on boxing up my stuff myself, the quote came in significantly lower. The staff and the moving crew (NYC & LA) were all exceptional and most importantly professional, and not one glass was broken nor any item lost in the move. I even had a case of wine come through without any temperature issues. I also received updates every couple days telling me where my ""stuff"" was as it moved across the country. All in all, this is a well run operation that takes pride in their work and people. Pros: Not sure if this is typical, but 8-days door-to-door Cons: None that I saw more

This was the most professional and pleasant experience I have ever had with a moving company. From the first day forward, each person I dealt with was knowledgeable and professional. The email responses to my numerous questions were prompt. They did a pick up at my elderly parent's house on one coast and delivered to me on another coast. My parents were very impressed that they didn't have to do anything and felt very well taken care of, which is huge. Most recently, I came in slightly below estimate, which is always pleasant. On all 4 ends of my moves (each coast x 2 moves) the movers have been great: efficient, friendly, and very helpful. California New York Express Moving company is a fantastic moving company. The service was great. I had a large move from New York to Los Angeles and the workers on both ends of the move were great. They were very careful with my items. Nothing arrived broken and nothing was lost. I had a self standing laser printer which they took the time to wrap extreme careful. And though the unit had small wheels they carried it so that the wheels wouldn't chip or break on the concrete ground.  Another huge plus was the fact that my move ended up costing less. The walk through estimate that was done by eye (which was a flat rate, no weighing on route) didn't match up with the actually packing of my boxes and furniture on the truck. My items took up less cubic space so my bill was recalculated. The only thing I can think of  that I wish was done differently was the tagging of furniture. The  labels they used  are hard to remove on items. They don't come right off. Maybe you should look into a different  lable brand that comes right off when removed. At no point did I feel like I was being taken advantage of with the cost. No surprises except for the lowered bill. I'd used your service again if I ever have the need. \r I used CNYX because it was recommended by a brother and cuzin who had used them. My experience was great. This was my first move from anywhere. Their staff were great from Noel the estimator down to the workers who packed and delivered. Any questions I had Lilach responded promptly.\r The workers listened to me and were a pleasure to work with. I am happy i chose California NY Express.\r I was happy that the same company dealt with me all the way through unlike other companies that contract it out. \r I also had my items in storage from September through Febuary. I am happy to say the boxes are in the same condition i gave them in. No water damage or anything of the sort. \r In Short: Proffesional and Curteous!\r Pros: Curteous Professional and great price! I just moved back to NJ from CA - very stressful time! Both the CA crews and NY crews were excellent - they were fast, professional and friendly. When I asked them to take extra care of my bedroom furniture, they were more than happy to comply. In addition, the estimator was also excellent - he explained the details of the pricing and made some great suggestions on packing.
