California Nails & Spa

I'm not sure about the negative post, because I went a couple of days before christmas which is usually a horrible time to try to squeeze in and get a full set of nails done. I had fungal infection on most of my nails from my usual nail salon so decided to find a new salon after they healed up. Not sure why I didn't go here earlier, but they did a great job on my nails. My manicurist is Helen who did a perfect job on my nails. She was also really fun to talk to and super nice. Very personable. Everyone there appears to actually work really hard, but then again, it was x-mas so tons of people there to get touch up for the holidays. My nails came out really natural looking. I told Helen that I wanted it thin, natural looking and she did it exactly as I expected and better. I would return to this salon any day of the week. more

My Mother and I need a girls day, so we decided to get our nails done. Upon entry, the women at the counter could have cared less. I know her name, but choose to leave it out. We waited for 25 minutes for someone to call us over. Most of them looked annoyed, and bored. The man who did my nails, rushed though it and immediately called someone on his cellphone while I was still sitting in-front of him. My Mother asked for a specific rounded edge on her nails so they weren't sharp, what she got was an entire rounded nail, it looked terrible. How could this be so unprofessional? I will NEVER return here. I felt unwelcome and uncared for, as well as my Mother. more

I love that it's located next to my new hair salon and the fact that I could go three weeks before a fill. Jonny (I think was his name) was very sweet! Pros: Located right next to my hair salon! more
