My son plays high school basketball. He was injured during practice and doctors in our home town of Seattle, Washington, diagnosed him as having ruptured his Achilles tendon. His rigorous workouts required him to do various sprinting activities along with a lot of jumping and pivoting. This stretched out his Achilles' tendon way beyond its capability causing his tendon to tear. Such an injury could potentially ruin his chances of ever playing basketball again. \r
So, I researched various surgeons and came across Dr. Philip Radovic. We flew to South Orange County, California, and he confirmed his previous diagnosis of a ruptured Achilles tendon. Dr. Radovic performed the surgery and after a short span of physical therapy and rehabilitation he went back to playing basketball. In fact, he just received a full scholarship to play basketball for his favorite college team, the Kansas Jayhawks.\r
