Amazing food! 4/17/2006

Calhoun's is a great fun restaurant. It is located right on the river. You can choose indoor seating or outside seating. I love sitting outside and relaxing in the scenery of Knoxville. When I am in the mood for more of a fun atmosphere -- I always head for their bar. Especially if UT is playing football that weekend! The food is outstanding -- especially their ribs! Service is outstanding! Be prepared for a wait if you visit during the weekend -- especially if there is a UT home football game that weekend. Definitely worth the wait though for amazing food and service! more

Best Ribs Anywhere 4/7/2006

If you like ribs than you have to go to Calhoun's in Knoxville. The restaurant is located right on the river, and you have the option to sit outside and enjoy it. I first went to this restaurant on a business trip to Knoxville, but I have since visited as often as I can. I actually will go out of my way to swing by there. If you are not into ribs, they also have great fried catfish. more

Unbelievable Ribs 3/27/2006

Calhoun's has the best ribs in the state of Tennessee. My husband and I recently visited Knoxville and we had heard so many great things about Calhoun's so we decided to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised by the food quality and service. Their fried catfish is also very, very good. These folks really know how to make good Southern food. Make sure you pick up some of their famous BBQ sauce on your way out! more
