we try to take our kids here every summer. My brother likes the big water slides my girls enjoy little kids play play area. The best time to go is when the state fair is open so they can ride at the fair. more

I like this water park because it has a great play are for the younger ones. While theolder kids are off on the big slides I can play here with my little one. ALthough this area tends to get crowded quickly on bysu days. more

Waterslides!!! yeeeeeeeeah 9/29/2006

When we visit our family in Sacramento during the summer, we never miss coming here to escape from the heat. It has a great childrens area where even the parents will have a great time. If you are a Six Flaggs season pass holder, you can go to any six flaggs park. So we used our season passes from marine world to come here. Lots of fun specially the slides which my children lovvvvvvvvvvvvvves!!! more

Who doesn't like a Fair? 8/18/2006

I've been going to the Fair almost every year. There's lots to see and do there. You can see livestock and even rock concerts! There's the monorail if you want to look at what they have to show at the fair. Forget about diets since most of the food is deep fried! The kids love it as well as the adults. PROS: Animals, rides, junk food CONS: parking is hard to find in the afternoon, parking price a bit high more

Family fun 11/12/2005

Waterworld is a lot of fun, but expensive. Last time I went admission was almost $20 a person, plus parking, raft/tube rentals if you want them, locker rental, food ...it gets expensive! There's nothing quite like breaker beach though, or going down those huge slides. Bring the sunblock and have fun! more

Lots of stuff goes down here 9/6/2005

Sacramento puts all kinds of stuff here. The fair, RV Shows, Gun and Doll shows, and Home and Garden shows. Cal Expo is very well kept, and the landscape always looks great. They have their own security as well. Some of the buildings could be updated, but they're functional, and they work pretty well. more

Great for a family - if you have discount tickets 9/6/2005

The price is super high, so check the Yellow Pages for discount tickets. It's great for a family outing, but food is also really pricey here as well. The slides are a lot of fun, and it's one of the best waterparks in California. PROS: Lots of fun CONS: Can get really crowded on weekends and holidays more

This has never been my favorite place to go but the kids love it. It is very crowded and over packed most of the time. They do have lots of life guards and other staff to help out. more

A staple of California 6/29/2005

As a avid Fair goer and also a exhibitor at the California State Exposition State Fair. Each summer the California State Fair is a big staple in Sacramento. There are things for everyone to be able to do, having the kids carnival. The exhibits is great for the adults to check out. Also each day of the state fair at night there is a concert with previous years having Huey Lewis and the News, Hootie and the Blowfish, and Los Lonely Boys just to name a few. more

I love to take my kids here every summer. My oldest enjoys the big water slides with me while my youngest enjoys the little kids play pirate ship. The best time to go is when the state fair is open. more

Fun Fun Fun 5/19/2005

Wow, this place has it all. Snack shop, gift shop and some of the best water rides and slides. Even a cute little kids pirate ship. This water park is located at the same place as the State Fair. So its best to go then and make a great day of both attractions. PROS: Fun CONS: Nothing more
