Caffe Capri

I have eaten here muiltiple times and every time we had outstanding service and food! Even though my husband and I have moved to Houston we will make to trip to Bryan just to eat at Cafe Capri. Pros: Delicious homemade recipes / great atmosphere more

The food is great I've had most of the things on the menu and they were all delicious. The atmospher is quite enjoyable and the owner really appriciates each of his customers. 5 stars if not then more stars. more

I would have to say this is a great place...only thing is you gotta go to bryan to eat. They have this one appetizer its pretty much just mozzerella sticks but theyre squares and they are fabulous! Overall the restaurant is great, great atmosphere but a little cramped...it'd be cool if they expanded. The wait is sometimes long also. more

Caffe Capri has the best food in the Bryan/College Station area in my opinion. They serve mostly Italian food and have a menu that is somewhat smaller than chain restaurants, but everything that I have ever ordered has tasted excellent. Highly scrumptious (but not too highly seasoned), cooked just right, and delightfully served up on classic plates can probably describe most of their dishes. The prices are also great when compared to other places. Most dishes are $10.95, which is more than reasonable in my opinion. The atmosphere is also great; it has an antique decor becuase the building has been refinished. The wait can get long on weekends so get there early because there is not a lot of seating. I got the house special and it truly was the best meal I think I have ever eaten. Also, they advertise in the paper for a free desert with any entree purchase, which is really nice. The service is great and if you love Italian food like I do, then this is definitely the place for you! Pros: Everything but the limited seating! Locally owned and operated, Caffe' Capri serves up deliscious Italian fare in downtown Bryan. The food is worth every cent you pay and more, plus the place has great, local character. Cafe Capri keeps improving. When it first opened there were only a few dependable dishes. Now, almost all are very good and new ones (when they show up) are usually top-notch. I wish it would try something a little more adventurous and pay more attention to seafood.... although that's hard to do in this community. A definite plus that it's NOT a chain. The crowds on Friday and Saturday night are testament that something is working! more

This is the best Italian food place in town. This is the perfect place to take a date. The ambiance is classy and beautifully decorated. The food is excellent. It is a bit pricey though. Pros: Romantic, Good Food, Excellent Service Cons: Expensive, Weird Hours more

For the locals willing to try something other than the pathetic Olive Garden or Carino's chain Italian food, Caffe Capri is a great place to start.
