My grandfather and I now frequent the used bookshop across the way from the cafe...I'm a big book lover...and one day I was hungry beforehand, so we stopped to have lunch. First we stopped at Greenlee's, but nothing on the menu looked good...nothing but crepes...so we came over to the cafe and ordered some sandwiches...mine was called the 'Old Theater' something, I can't remember the name...and some drinks. It was really crowded, but one of the older women working there that day kept a lookout for a seat for us, and when we managed to get one outside just after she had gone back inside, one of the men working immediately came over and cleaned it for us, so we didn't have to deal with the food the people before us had left behind. Our sandwiches were great, as was the pasta salad I had with mine, but the portions were a bit small, my grandpa finished the rest of my sandwich. My mocha chai was incredible, though, even on such a hot day, it was nice and peppery, exactly how I like it. I'm definitely hoping for a return visit soon.
Pros: Awesome service and very friendly staff, great food and drinks
Cons: Small portions
