Ordered a plate sized crepe that was folded with banana slices, cinnamon/sugar and vanilla ice cream. Goes great with their cappuccino and accompanying solid sugar stick. Highly recommend while window shopping in Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale. more

So like many of the folks below, the Fat Food Lover agrees about the service, its wanting, but hey they are French..since when are they friendly??? \r \r The food is amzing, im a traditionalist I love a good amount of crepe's with some fruit, along with creme anglaise were amazing, the fruit was fresh, the cremes were warm and the creme anglaise was of the correct texture. After 12pm you can have a mimosa, which are usually pretty good. The portions are of a good size for the price, with mimosa's look at spending around $40 maybe $50 for a good breakfast... more

I was so looking forward to trying the food. I love REAL crepes but these were not real french crepes which should be soft, supple and delicate. The meal crepes were too sweet and too thick. and they were put together by a cook who merely built them to order with pre-made sauces and fillings. The entrees that were not crepes were good. One of us had a shrimp dish that was well done. The waitstaff leaves much to be desired. We couldn't even leave our waiter a tip he was so bad. The desert crepe was very tasty, but the my wish to have real French crepes as my entree was not fulfilled. It is expensive and I won't be back to spend to my hard earned money. more

Not just Crepes! amazing breakfast, all entrees are large, delicious and superbly served, quality is not sacrificed, and you do not pay Las Olas prices. Try their Filet Mignon, puts steak joints to shame! more

I have only been to the airport in Paris :). I have tried quite a few crepe resturants from PDX to NY. All seem to put there own twist on the crepe. \r The dishes we tried here were good but there was no pop of any taste. Bland with a lot of cream. Perhaps this is typical of a true french dish but I wouldn't know for sure. \r The waitress was very blunt and cold. Actually come to think of it I think she held the pen and pad and didn't actually speak to us. \r We enjoyed the outside seating watching the bustle of the arts district and snowbirds. \r \r Maybe we will give it another go. more

I love to travel and eat in different countrys .\r Every Ntion in the World has they own vergion of crepes - ( it is just a different name but the same texture) in La bone Crepe it is far from real crepe - their crepes are stif like a thin paper! and i did not have a taste of feeling and crepe together !?! \r and Crepe suzette is very strange - they put a liquid sauce over it - it was NOT AT ALL AN ORANGE BUTTER- like it supose to be ,\r it wqas educational but unfortunatly very disapointed! more

We had breakfast this morning here and left stuffed. I got the Eggs Las Olas and Hubby got the Leo omelet. Both were delicious and the portions were huge. We burned off the calories strolling down Las Olas Boulevard later on. The staff was helpful and the service quick. more

Great staff, very helpful with the menu and very nice. I got the crepe vegetarienne which had roasted vegetables and ratatouille inside. It was delicious, and had great presentation. Because of the "lightness" of my selection it was not very filling, but I'm a vegetarian so I did not have too many other options. The dessert menu looked absolutely fantastic but did not have time to try it. Only downside is the price is pretty steep. Would definitely recommend though! more

I think these are almost galettes as the servings are big and there are a lot of fillings you can choose from. We took the kids and they enjoyed the food (of course with chocolate crepes). Excellent staff. more

La Bonne Crepe or La Bonne Crappe? 12/16/2007

We went out of our way to visit this restaurant, because I wanted to try the crepes there. I strongly advise you not to take there anyone who is from Europe and try to tell them that this establishment sells crepes. Crepes are supposed to be soft, not hard. \r \r Upon our arrival we were informed that if we ordered crepes, we'd have to wait about half an hour to get them. We decided to wait anyway, because we did not find anything else enticing on the menu. While waiting, we ordered a ""tropical"" fruit dish, which included two strawberries, grapes, two different kind of melon, a single slice of pineapple at the bottom and two small slices of banana. Now, I'm not sure what kind of tropics these people have been, but this selection doesn't quite meet my definition of tropical fruit. The whole thing was covered with cottage cheese, which was not mentioned on the new at all and made the whole thing rather yucky.\r \r When the crepes came they were were hard, instead of soft and the sandwich i ordered included some turkey breast, tomatoes, and gruyere cheese. The whole thing was rather tasteless and the tomatoes were heated with the sandwich which I personally thought was ridiculous. My friend ordered another crepe sandwich and the whole breakfast cost us over $50 along with a coffee and a tea. Now I don't mind paying $50 for breakfast, but I expect to get some quality in return. And what we got was bland, tasteless food, poorly cooked and presented. I strongly advise people to skip this joint and spend their money elsewhere. Pros: nice location on Las Olas Blvd Cons: horrible overpriced food more
