Cafe Biaggio Llc

Prior to visiting Cafe Biaggio, I read a few reviews on this site and almost didn't go. But word of mouth goes a long way. I celebrated my 45th birthday with friends and I am a totally foodie as I cook in a restaurant as well. We started with the fried calamari which was one of the best I have ever had it was light crispy on the outside and a lovely and tender on the inside served with a rich marinara sauce. We all shared an escargot piping hot full of fresh garlic and butter there was plenty for dipping your bread into! For my main course I had sword fish stuffed with a crab meat stuffing(real crab meat) The fish was cooked to perfection juicy and piping hot surrounded by fresh cauliflower and pan seared potatoes. And my husband had their signature dish Pork Butt with Escarole and white beans over ziti. It was succulent in a light broth based with garlic and the escarole was still a lovely green as it was also cooked perfectly. I also tasted my friends NY strip grilled to perfection Medium Rare and smothered with Gorgonzola cheese! As far as price goes we it was worth every penny for a homemade meal.W hen one dines out one should enjoy their company , waiting for a perfect meal was well worth waiting for. Cafe Biaggio is an upscale restaurant. It has every liquor you can think of to offer at the bar. The seating is comfortable whether you decide to eat at the bar or at a table. The waiters and waitresses are dressed appropriately to the service that they provide. Very professional yet personal. The Food is most excellent and the Martini's are great. I have been here many times and had nothing but good service and awsome food. The house salad dressing is wonderful and the unique meal creations are great. There is a limited menu but there is something for everyone. They do have there signature dish but there are many other options on this menu. The service is wonderful you never have to look for your waiter or waitress as they are very attentive to each of their tables.\r The dessert menu is phenomenal and it is all homemade. The FUNNY BONE CAKE is my favorite and the creme brulee' is one of the best I ever had. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who knows good quality food and service. my good friends recommended cafe biaggio, so we all went there for valentines day dinner , the service and the food was top notch , i am in the food service business , and they run a good restaurant. the pork dishes are excellent , as with the appitizers , and the wine list , prices are what you would expect for fine food , the bartender and owner were very gracious... i would highly recommend to try it , see for your self. Friday -evening visit, very disappointed in service and prices. Clams casino cost a small fortune. The house salad dressing had no flavor, and the fish was sub-par. Plates and silverware appeared dirty. For prices this steep, try other restaurants. more

I wouldn't order anything off of the menu here besides the nightly specials. My table was right next to the bar, I heard two cooks talking about how the refrigerators and freezers were broken and the meat had been at room temp for an extended period of time. Disgusting. The place also had a shabby interior. Pros: Good desert menu Cons: Poor atmosphere for socializing and downright disgusting-looking employees. more

Friends of my husband and I recommended this place for our anniversary party. We took the advice without checking the internet for reviews first. The menu was relatively expensive/serving size. Veal Filets with Portebello Mushrooms were OK, but no better then something you could find at a diner at 2am. Husband had Tuna with garlicy linguine which was over $25, only to find it extremely overcooked to the point where there was no flavour. The interior of the restaurant was outdated, peeling paint, rips in chairs, obvious wear to furniture. Bar contained some ""top-shelf"" liquors, but nothing special, no extra kick, and def not worth the price. This place was noisy and NOT good if you're looking for a 5-Star atmosphere with the ability to speak to the person next to you without screaming. Perhaps the biggest turnoff and reason for my One-Star rating was the bathroom. The toilets were both overflowing and there was a smell of raw sewage on our side of the restaurant. Cooks were in and out of the bathroom right in front of us, and none of the sinks were working. The hygiene of this place was gross, the menu was overpriced, and the atmosphere was much less than appealing. I heard this restaurant was unbelievable satisfying. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a kind woman that helped me to my seat and presented me with a terrific menu. However, while I was sitting at the table, I noticed a strong odor of bacon that took away my appetite. I wondered if they had previously hosted a pigroast. Actually, I think it was the huge, fat woman in the back that I saw-- fixing her hair and continuing to make food without washing her hands. Took away my appetite just like (snap) that!
