CITRINE Salon & Spa

We are somewhat new to the area. My husbands job takes us all over the country but we have been in Washington DC the longest so far and strangely enough it has taken the longest to find a great stylist who can do both my haircut and my hair color. One night at dinner in Bethesda i was admiring the hair of our server and she just raved about this Boy Sharp so i though at this point i had very little to lose. Going to his is was such a treat. He spent plenty of time finding out what my hair issues were and giving solutions. It is the first time in my life that i have received a haircut that i can my look as good as he can. Don't you truly hate when only a stylist can make your hair look good. I also have never loved my haircolor so much before. He is the hair genius. So nice to find someone so incredibly nice as well. I hope he reads this too! Great stylist, best hair colorist and such an incredible person and friend now. more

We moved to the DC/Maryland area from the west coast about 5 years ago and I was having no luck finding a great Salon or Stylist, after getting my high-lights screwed up a few times I started to get really nervous about trusting anyone anymore. I even planned on making trips back to the west coast to the person who I trusted. But I was searching thru the Internet and completely stumbled onto a couple different posts about a Stylist/Hair color person in Bethesda MD, which is a little bit of a drive but TOTALLY worth it. This Colorist who fixed my High-lights name is Boy Sharp. I now have been going to him for 5 years even followed him when he moved to a new salon that is also a Spa. He is the best ever! Boy Sharp talked about colors that work for my skin tone and eye color (who else does that?), also my face shape and great ways to accent my features. Made me feel like a beautiful mom. Now I will make trips back to him regardless where we move to next. matter of fact he has done a better job than I have ever had. I am still getting compliments from strangers. He now does the hair of my husband and our daughter in law. What a nice discovery Bethesda is too. We now go there every weekend for lunch or dinner too. We will follow him anywhere! more

My sister-in-law turned me onto the best stylist in Bethesda. I had moved back the the Bethesda area to be close to my mother to help take care of her, and hadn't lived in the area in12 years. I was having an awful time trying to find someone to do my hair. In my search i did more damage to my color than benefit. I was just about to give up and grow my highlights out. She told me that she had found him from her o-worker when she had a bad hair experience that he fixed. His name is Boy Sharp, yes Boy Sharp. But it's possible that is a nickname. But he looked my hair over very well and took great time in talking to me about what my best options were. Not only did he fix my color and haircut. He has given me the BEST color and cut i have ever been given. He is a genius colorist and stylist. more
