I have a 1994 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 that had had the transfer case rebuilt shortly after I bought it. It was trying to jump out of 2hi going down the road. Local transmission ""expert"" said he could fix it. I paid him nearly $1400 to rebulid the t-case and go thru the NV4500 transmission, which had 3rd gear synchro out. 4 months later the t-case started jumping out of 2hi again... I did some research and had a few friends reccomend C&M Gear Works. I called and talked to one of the guys on the phone and told him the problem. He says ""If we have all the parts, I can usually get it back out within a day"". I feed about 700 cows a day with this truck, so I can't afford to be without it for long. I tell him I'll try to have it out and to him by 8 or 9 am next day. I didn't get to Springfield until 10 am, so I'm thinking I'm screwed for the day. I get there and Chris says ""Let's go take a look at it"". We dollied it back to one of the guys and put it on his stand. He tore it down, found some screw ups the ""expert"" had made, and rebuilt that thing in under 3 HOURS! I was back home with my truck running by 5 pm THAT DAY! (And... I live 75 miles away!) There will never be another manual transmission, t-case, or diff taken anywhere else from ANY of my equipment!\r

Also, I want to mention the Speedo gear issue... Not quite a month after I got the t-case back in, the speedo quit. I figured it was a sensor. I bought one and installed it. Didn't fix the problem. I figured the sensor drive gear had stripped out. Ordered one from my local Dodge dealer. When I went to install it, I noticed the sensor was clocked wrong. It had chewed both the output shaft gear and the sensor gear to shreds... I called C&M and asked if they had one, which Dave said yes to. When I mentioned the problem, he sent me the drive gear at no charge!!! It was an honest mistake that could've happened to anyone, but they took care of it. HONESTY AND INTEGRITY... Did I mention, all this happened on the 29th of September 2011? less than a week after they'd just moved to their new location on Trafficway? They were working out of large totes on pallets! Boxes where everywhere! I cannot express how impressed I was with these guys. I WATCHED them tear my t-case down in front of me. asked questions. eyeballed their barbeque grill... \r
