C & L Maintenance

At first I was pleased with this company. They did a ton of work on my house that I was remodeling. They were very flexible with me, with timing and payment. The lady in charge was also extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with. However, my final cost was always more than the estimate....a lot more. I was told that there were things that made it more expensive that they didn't know about until they started the job. I believed them. Since they did their work, back in the spring, I have had to have almost everything I paid them for, redone. I paid them to put in a "p-trap" under my kitchen sink. I didn't know what one was and believed it had been done. When I got a new kitchen sink the plumber installing it informed me that I had no p-trap. He showed me what one looked like and he was right, there wasn't one. This had been allowing sewage gases into my house with my two children since I had moved in....wonderful. The sink c & l installed leaked constantly and I had to have it redone. This is just the beginning of the list. I don't trust them and would not reccomend them. more

Very disappointed in C & L -- called them for air conditioner repair, and would not recommend. Two guys came to our house, spent all day trying to determine what the problem was, took our breaker and thermostat apart, told us they needed their boss to come out and finish the work. The AC was still not working and the thermostat was in pieces. Their boss never came (we were told he'd be at our house at 10am the following day) and when we called, the C & L phone had been disconnected! We called another firm and got our AC fixed in less than an hour. We still haven't been able to reach C & L. Avoid them! more

Both the phone operator and the technician, Clint, were very professional and helpful. My air conditioning was fixed in a few hours and Clint even spared the time to tell us what was wrong and what we should to avoid problems in the future. He knew a lot and was quick to share it with us. The price was reasonable. more

On March 6, I paid Clint $425 to clear a clogged toilet and shower. Six weeks later, the shower and toilet are still clogged, and he refuses to honor his warranty. The city came out this morning to confirm that the clog is in the line under the house, and is not on the city side as Clint claims. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Clint will take your money and not stand behind his work. more

This company was a pleasure to deal with because from the initial phone call I was treated with the up most respect. They are knowledgeable in so many areas. Also I actually offered them a tip for their services because the price was so surprisingly reasonable. I highly recommend this company to anyone!! Pros: willing to work with you; very flexible and punctual. Cons: none more
