Have been here a number of times, for all three meal periods, haven't been disappointed yet. Pros: great food, great prices, great service Cons: parking downtown can be a problem, but go anyway more

Went to byrd's for lunch and was told by others it was great palce to eat. Walked in and no one greeted me until I walked up to the counter and was ignored, it was not busy at all. Finally a young woman helped me and was to busy watching what was going on outside and did not get order right. Wanted to know what nest fries were and she was too busy looking at others walking in to answer me. I ordered fries which cost 1.50 extra. Burger was okay, but no flavor, had wilted bitter lettuce, a mushy tomato, meat was juicy. It had no mayo, mustard on it and when i went up to counter to ask for some I was ignored and finally went back to my tabel, not busy to be ignored. Only got 5 fries with sandwich and noticed other dinners having more or same amount as I did. 5 fries for 1.50 a bit of a rip off if you aks me. Pros: Close to work Cons: expensive for what they serve more

This place is great! The food is outstanding. I thought is seemed familiar then I met the chef and found out she gets her influence from southern California. It looks like something out of mid-town Manhattan, but the food is very California, what a great concept. You gotta try the pork sandwich and get the sweet potato fries, truly inspired. Byrd's, you ROCK!!!!!!! Pros: Outstanding food, cool atmosphere Cons: Downtown, parking, but worth the hassle more

I have eaten here at least once a week since it has opened. Have not been disappointed yet. The quality of the food is unsurpassed and the prices for what you get are amazing. The burgers might be the best in the city. This one is a must try for anyone who appreciates good food made from quality ingredients. And the wine selection is amazing to, and the prices, well the same as above, great for the quality. I am addicted. Pros: quick, great prices for the quality, great wine selection Cons: fills up fast at lunch time, so try to get there early more

I went to Byrd's the other day and ordered a turkey sandwich which is not their specialty but if you charge this much it needs to be great. First of all I paid $10 for a sandwich on sliced bread with no sides and a drink. I ordered it with no mayonaise and it came with mayonaise. I sent it back and it came back dry with no vegetables and no guacamole so I sent it back again. It was decent but no better than Schlotzsky's or Spec's and you get less for your money. I might try this place again but I would get one of their specialty dishes to give it a fair chance. The managers were very nice but the girls behind the counter were not overly nice to me when I took the sandwich back. Pros: it's downtown and very fast Cons: expensive for what you get more

Been there countless times in the last two months and my official new ""go-to"" place. Always pleasantly surpised with the daily specials and soups. Great open and vibrant atmoshere, owners work the place hard, customer service is excellent. Fresh ingredients, great concept and location, and a definite ""uptick"" from other downtown grab and go eateries. Pros: Soups, Salads, Sanwiches and Service Cons: the lines are getting longer.....because the food's great more
